  1. Hey guys!! I'm already married (Maui, Hawaii 05-28-09), but you guys helped so much with the planning of my wedding, that I thought you might be helpful in helping my family & I choose a new summer vacation spot on the east coast. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct area, but it seemed like the likely place to post. Anyway, we usually do one of our yearly vacations on Tybee Island off the coast of Savannah, but my feeling is that the world is too big to vacation at the same spot year after year, so we are begininning our search for a new beach on the east coast. I came across something in the news about Topsail Island (North Carolina) & wondered if anyone had ever heard of or been there. We don't like a whole lotta hustle & bustle (that's why we enjoy Tybee), but we do want the option of being close to the hustle & bustle; abundant restaurant choices are a must (as I DO NOT cook on vacation:) You ladies are great; thanks for any input.
  2. I have to admit that it was quite stressful once we had to begin to plan wedding #2, but I refused to move my wedding date. We planned the first wedding in about 4 months & had no issues; I totally believe that if you have good communication with your wedding coordinator (& sometimes that means being a stalker , that planning should go smoothly. I think 6 months is plenty of time to put together your dream DW. Now planning a wedding in 3 weeks, that I don't think I would recommend to anyone Good luck!!
  3. You could never tell by looking at my husband that he is such a pig! I swear, I don't know where he puts everything he eats; he's ALWAYS hungry. People would never guess he eats as much as he does b/c he is so thin & doen't work out; Ughhh I hate him for that **Good luck with your audition!!!!**
  4. I say go for this Feb!! I was impatient too. We decided at the end of December to have our wedding in Mexico in May. We planned the whole wedding for May 28th, to be in Cancun, then 3 weeks before the wedding (b/c of the swine flu), we had to cancel & I was still able to plan an amazing wedding in Maui for the same date. All it takes is a time & dedication. Good luck!!
  5. Those are awesome pics; great choice for a photographer. **My fav is the one of the couple laying on their backs in the crystal clear water; that's a GREAT picture!!**
  6. Congrats on your AHR; we had ours on that very same day!!
