  1. It's your wedding day Karla - WOOT WOOT!!!! Enjoy every second of it (& your trip.) I'm so jelly that your in sunny Jamiaca - have a blast!!!!!!!
  2. Every summer we spend 10 days between Hilton Head & Tybee Island & we just love both. I would try contacting the visitors bureau (prob by phone for fastest service) & telling them you are planning a DW in HH & would like to include a visitors guide. I'm sure they would be more than willing to send you some. Here's the website, so you can get the phone #: Official Hilton Head Island, South Carolina: Vacation & Travel Guide Good luck!!
  3. Great Job Nadine; thanks for sharing!!! You leave so soon; YIPEE!!!!
  4. It is YOUR day; don't let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn't wear!!! Whatever you feel comfortable in, you should def rock down the aisle. I too am big busted & I wore a strapless sweatheart gown & I don't think it was too revealing, I actually think it did wonders to hold the girls in their place, lol. Def buy what makes you feel the best; you may go in with an idea in your head & end up going in the complete opposite direction (which is what I did.) You will know when you put on THE dress, so good luck & don't listen to anyone, go with your gut!!
  5. Thanks so much for sharing your review, it was so great that I feel gulity for never posting mine (what a bad BDW member I am). Your wedding looked amazing; you were a beautiful bride. Congrats to you & your new hubby!!!
  6. Great review; thanks so much for taking the time to share (reviews w/pics are my fav things to read.) You wedding sounds & looks amazing (your pics were just gorgeous.) Congrats to you & your new hubby!!!!
  7. Yeah, the whole lemondade issue really rubbed me the wrong way. Just in the way that he treated the kids (Mady & Cara), just didn't sit well with me. I don't think by any stretch of the imagination, he's as good of a parent as Kate; he always seems so put out by having to do things with/for his children. He needs to get his S**T together & grow up. He keeps complaining about how he missed out on his 20's, well guess what, you choose to have kids, now be a man & deal with it!!! I feel so bad for all the kids; as if your parents getting divorced isn't hard enough to deal with, they also have to deal with their daddy being a douche. At the end of the day, I'm sad that the show is gone & I hope that Kate & the kids come back to tv in some capacity at some point, but I'll be happy to never see Jon on tv or in another magazine! **Sorry for the long rant, LOL**
  8. I'm glad I'm not the only who may shed a tear tonight after the final episode. Heck, I have to hold back my tears when they keep playing the commerical for the last episode. I have watched this show from the first episode; essentially watching these children grow-up - I will miss watching them every Monday
  9. YAY, another Maui bride!! We are here to help with any questions you may have. Congrats!!
  10. I was just looking at the Reebok Easytones online & contemplating buying them, so I am curious to know what you think of the ones that you purchased that are similar. I think in theory it looks like it would work great when using them in conjunction with your normal walking, but I'm a bit skeptical of things, so I will check back to see what you think! Looking forward to your review; thanks!
  11. Wow, this suprises me. I watched "Top 10 Mexican Beach Resorts" last night on the Travel Channel & Casa Del Mar is within the top 5. It looked like a beautiful place & they talked about the great service, etc b/c of it being such a small, intimate hotel. I was intrigued & told my hubby we would have to check it out, but after hearing about this, we will think twice - YIKES! Thanks for sharing.
  12. EH, I'm kinda indifferent about Dorito's Sun Chips??
  13. I like your idea of incorporating your FI fav team (go VOLS!!!) into your wedding, so I think the "Vols Love" or something similar would be cute. As far as a sign goes, if you have a bar/bars, I would make some cute sign/signs like these Pink Design BLOG: Signature Drink Cocktail Sign for Leann and Matt Signature Drink Signs Weddingtini Anyone by BGDesignstudio **I like the first sign - I think it's cute & you could incorporate your wedding colors ** I also like some of these names for a signature drink: Dominican Sunset Love is in the air Sealed with a kiss Love Potion First Kiss Just some thoughts; good luck & congrats!!
  14. I saw the thread someone posted while you were gone of your pics & they are ALL amazing. You picked an amazing photog - good choice!!!! You were a beautiful bride - congrats!!
  15. LOVE, but can't go this year online shopping??
  16. me at work on friday : should be against some sort of law (LMAO)
  17. I must agree with most of the other girls, in that my guests raved about the overall experience of the DW. Most of my guests would have never endured the 10 hour plane ride to Maui if not for my wedding. Once they arrived in Maui & say how amazing it was, they were so glad that we had planned our wedding there & made them endure that 10 hour plane ride. Another thing that everyone still talks about is our reception, which was a luau - soooo much fun. I def think that just the experience of the whole DW will be memoriable for all of your guests - it's an experience not to be forgotten. Good luck!
  18. LOVE, but I'm hard to surprise b/c I'm such a snopper (sp?) xmas shopping??
