  1. I am getting married there this October. If you want a cliff location, I put a deposit at Surfside originally, and they have a cliff location. I checked around and their fee is the cheapest by far. I personally had drama with them though, so I canceled. I was told when I made my deposit that I could be married on the beach, but apparently she lied to me to get me to choose there. When I called a few months later to talk about details, I was told that the lawn up on their cliff is the only location they use. I hired a planner instead, and she has been great. She only charges $500 as her fee, and that includes anything you need her to do, and unlimited consultation. Here is her site if you want to try and go with her. http://www.tiptopwebsite.com/website...sername=simsoa

  2. I wish I had a romantic reason for picking my date. Unfortunately I had to pick it based around my bf's wedding. She has been engaged for 4 years now, and kept postponing her wedding. She also has 3 kids, and will be in my wedding, so I knew that MY wedding would have to be HER honeymoon since there is no way she could go away twice in one year without her 3 kids. So I pretty much had to tell her that she needed to pick a date and get the show on the road for her wedding so I could pick a date for mine. The only cruise going to Bermuda in the fall was in October or later, so that brought us to the first week of October. Her wedding is Sat Sept.26, and mine will be a week later on Oct 8th. The day after my birthday. Blah. Well, at least he will never forget our anniversary. If so, he's in the doghouse twice over!

  3. Yeah, I saw it. I didn't want to go ahead and invite myself. Sometimes I feel like an outsider on here, because everyone seems to know each other so well. I don't know if I could go anyway though. I have an 8 month old at home, and my FI is a full time student in addition to his job. The weekends are the only time he can catch up on his course load. I would have to have him watch the little guy so I could go, and he would lose out on that time to do school work. Thanks for the invite though!

  4. I just made this the other day...

Saute some peppers and onions and put them aside. Saute the chicken breasts in chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix a cup of salsa with some cream cheese and microwave. Serve the chicken on top of the peppers and onions, put the salsa/cream cheese mix on top, sprinkle with shredded cheddar. Yum!

  5. Mine are $5300, and it includes free Zoom whitening when I'm done and the retainer. Make sure you ask about the retainer if you get it. Someone told me to make sure and ask if it is included in the price so I didn't have to pay more at the end. It seems a little pricey, but I didn't want to have to deal with traditional braces. The only plus is that the financing is 0% apr for 2 years. The down side...it's basically like having an extra car payment. I just hope the results are worth it!

  6. Have any of you tried it? I got my molds done about 3 weeks ago, and am just waiting for my trays to arrive. I have no idea what to expect. Of course the Dr. only says good things about it, but why would he say otherwise. I was just wondering if you have used it, how were your results? Was it painful? Thanks!

  7. I'm also Italian, and from Jersey. You're talking about people who basically wear a prom dress to go to the mall and fake eyelashes at the gym, so I would try to get as dressed up as possible. I would definitely not wear any white/ ivory/ or variation of the color. Pants are totally fine though. Why not just black pants and a satin or beaded top. The Limited always has super cute tops that can be worn more formal, and you can use them again to go out at night with some jeans.
