  1. Ok first attempt at posting a picture (fingers crossed) Here are my shoes, they have a super high heel (my fiance is 6'2") but very comfortable because they have a ton of padding. I love them!!
  2. BriscoeCrown- Thank you!! What a beautiful set up!! I was asking Nicole & Loreto for a set up not on beach for a larger group (40 right now and growing) but she said it wasn't possible. Now they know it is possible and looks amazing!!

  5. Hi everyone! I know a lot of you have used Sungold Photography and have had great experiences with Paula and Damien, but what about their associates? Anyone have great or not so great experiences with them?
  6. Hi Mary At the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites you can rent the Disco “Mango Walk†for groups of more than 30 adults from 8:30 to 10:30 pm. It cost $350 and that includes DJ and open bar for 2 hours. (Note: the disco is only for adults, if you have children in your party they will be allowed during the private reception but if you decide to continue the party once the disco opens at 10:30 pm for the regular guests the children will have to leave the Disco facilities) Hope this helps!   7. I'm a May 8, 2010 bride! Getting married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay. I plan on sending out my Save the Dates June 1st, but it's been hard to wait!! When is everyone going to start dress shopping?
  8. Hi Tanya- quick question. Do you know if the location choices are the same for the Suites and Beach Resort? Or are there separate set ups for each? Also, are you renting out the steakhouse for your reception?

  10. Got them!! Thanks you so much. It definitely put my mind to ease about the ceremony site (beautiful) and the spa service- (loved everyone's hair). Overall it looks like everyone had an amazing time and that's what I'm hoping for! Some follow up questions: did you use the minister/rabbi they provided or did you bring/hire an outside one? How did you like the steel drum band for the ceremony music? Did you have open bar at your reception? Was it expensive? Did you have a cocktail hour between the ceremony & reception? Ok i'll stop there so I don't overwhelm you. Thanks again!!
  11. Yay PhillyGal- I'm so happy that you posted and that we can use you as a resource. I'm sure Angel and I will have a ton of questions. So let me say THANK YOU ahead of time!! A couple questions- did you rent out the steakhouse for your reception? Was the DJ set up in the steakhouse or outside it. Was there room to dance? Did you have your ceremony on the beach or terrace? How was the setup? (Tashi- I will definitely let you know about the packages my TA comes up with) Thanks girls!!
  12. Thank you Tasha and Angel for this information! I'm working with a travel agent now, that I've used through work and he actually just got back from the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites on 12/29. He said that the suites were nicer because you had unlimited access to the restaurants, whereas at the hotel you're limited to three nights a week. But it is more expensive. And all the rooms are at least junior suites. I'm going to have him price out both and then compare the two. I think if people are only there a couple nights the limited restaurants wouldn't really matter...
  13. Congrats to you also!! I received an email back from Sandy with a price list attached, but not a lot of information. She did mention that May is still all open- so that's good news!! I think I'm going to go the travel agent route too. Keep me updated and I'll do the same!
  14. Hi Guys! I was thinking about May 2010 at Rose Hall also (don't worry I'm thinking May 1st or 8th.) I emailed the WC and hadn't heard back yet and was starting get nervous. Maybe I should have a travel agent contact them instead?
