Hola everyone! I returned back from our beach wedding (June 5) at the Royal and loved it! We are so happy with the way everything turned out and we have a ton of photos. I'm not sure how to do a review on this thing, but I will do what I can. If you have any specific questions just ask.

I don't know how to PM on this site yet! LOL but could you send me the info you got from the Royal? I'm getting married June 5th and I haven't really heard anything from the wedding coordinator yet! I have confirmation on our date and all our reservations are set, but I'm starting to wonder about all the extras! I'm a cake designer, so I'm thinking about bringing some stuff down to snaz it up, but would love to see what I'm working with first.

I met my fiance on-line as well! On MATCH.com of all places... Who would of thought I would meet the man I would spend the rest of my life with on a dating website. I had just moved to Houston for work and didn't know a soul, so my mom signed me up for Match.com so I would meet people. We first emailed about a month before we met and then we met 2 weeks before Christmas 2007 and never left each others side. He did a supprise proposal at the end of November 2008 and now we are planning our destination wedding in Mexico for May 2009! Who says you can't meet your dream guy online?? Just remember it doesn't matter how you meet, just that you do meet!

That's awesome! It is also a great start to a healthier lifestyle. Working with a trainer will not only give you better results quickly, but it will also show you how to exercise correctly so that you get everything you can out of your workout. Congrats!

wow great pics. We are looking at the Riu as well. We found a ton of pics on trip advisor, but I didn't like all the sandbags in the ocean. Can you see them in front of the hotel beach? How private are their wedding locations?

My birthday was November 21st and we were planning on celebrating the weekend in San Antonio, so Saturday morning we packed up the car and headed out. We arrived in San Antonio and decided to spend the day at Sea World. His brother met us out there with the excuse that he had never been to Sea World. So, we spent the day feeding the dolphins, watching shows and visiting the Budweiser area and sampling the beer. By the afternoon we decided to head over and watch the shark feeding. My fiancé excused himself and said he needed to use the restroom and about 5 minutes later he called me and said that he had a birthday surprise for me and that I should meet him right by the entrance to the park. I headed over to the entrance and he met me half way in front of the Sea World Experiences area. My birthday surprise was a Beluga Whale interactive experience. We got to go behind the scenes and get suited up in wetsuits to join the 2200 lb beluga Whales in the training pools. After about 45 minutes of interacting with the whales and the trainer handed Mike a buoy to throw out and the whale brought it back to me and written on it was; "Will You Marry Me?" and I looked over to Mike and he was on one knee with a ring in his hand. It was the most unique experiences of my life and I will never forget it. We look forward to creating many more memories together in the upcoming weeks, months and years.

My name is Amy and I recently got engaged, the week before Thanksgiving. We're planning a destination wedding in May 2009 near Playa de Carmen. I welcome any insight into resorts in that area.
