yep we are getting married here in IL before we go down there...we already have a hard enough time with people wanting to go, so it would probably be even less if we told them we were already married!

OMG Erika J! Mango Weddings looks phenomenal! You are the first person who mentioned them so I just googled their website...OMG again!! Your pictures are going to come out so beautiful...I am already jealous! LOL! Seriously, I really like their samples...were they ridiculously expensive?

So my FI and I chose Dreams because it seemed like we got a better deal because sooo much was included in the price of the wedding package, but the more time I spend on these message boards, it seems like everyone is using outside vendors! I have heard horror stories about the make-up done by the Dreams salon, so I know I will have to do research on where to go for that...but we are using their photographer, videographer, cake, decorations, etc. Basically, I am going down there with my dress and the stuff for the OOT bags...except now I am worried about getting other vendors!!! Not worrying about that stuff was the main thing that appealed to me about a DW and I hope SOMEONE out there has some experience on using DREAMS exclusively!

Don't worry...I am TOTALLY the same way...that was one of the reasons we decided to do a dw - so we didn't have to worry about a million different things...

I was the same way about not wearing a veil...but little by little the idea has grown on me...like everyone else says - if it doesn't work, you can always take it off...

So I am super panicky - dates have opened up for reservations at Dreams at Los Cabos for January 2010...I have been in contact with Yesica (the coordinator for Dreams) for a couple of months...now we are ready to book, but it seems like everything is done by email!!!! This of course means days/weeks of waiting for a reply!!! Has anyone else worked with her? How was your wedding there? Are the prices really what they say they are, or do they try to nickel and dime you? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
