Yeah I was planning on sending an invite out ~ Jan .. but I'm feeling like that is too late

So in May when we confirmed the date with the resort .. we sent out an email ... with a quick blurb .. Save the date blah blah .. I sent a formal STD out ~ beginning of June ... with prepaid postcards ... and got a number of responses back and also via verbal reply ... I am 5 months out ..and I feel like I still need a more definite count .. as only a few have booked through the travel agent .. Should I send something else out now?? granted alot of our guests will book themselves but I still feel like I need an exact count ..
