  1. We're doing a 7 night Caribbean cruise with our family and friends and getting married while in port at St. Thomas. When our ship gets back to Miami, we're heading straight for the airport to go to Jamaica for a week. I know we will need some "real" alone time after spending a week with everybody. I can't wait!
  2. Greetings fellow St. Thomas Brides to Be! I'm contributing our St. Thomas WC name to the list. We're using Leslie from Perfect Weddings of St. Thomas, she's been great to work with so far and we are sure she will not disappoint us when our big day arrives! I will keep you all posted!
  3. Dang, I think I missed the get together! I've been too busy with work to keep up to date with the forums. Anyway, I'm in Rancho Cucamonga, let me know if you ladies plan another get together anytime soon! Thanks!
  4. There hasn't been a posting to this thread in a while but I'm a St. Thomas bride to be from Southern California. We'll be in St. Thomas for only 1 day (on a cruise). We're planning on getting married on Magen's Bay and we are still trying to figure out which WC to use. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thank you!
  5. We are taking a cruise on Carnival Liberty and getting married in port while at St. Thomas. I feel like I'm behind in planning everything but at least the cruise is booked. We're still trying to figure out which St. Thomas vendor to select and who the heck is going! We've got 18 total booked so far. It's been frustrating that people aren't at least rsvp'ing and my DWTA has been getting on my nerves because she's not getting back to people in a timely manner...but I'm not turning into Bridezilla! I swear! I'm letting my FH take care of it.
  6. My name is Barbie, my wonderful FH & I are getting married May 26, 2009 in St. Thomas, USVI. While on vacation on Provo Island, in Turks & Caicos for 2 days, we got stuck in on the island (and bad weather) for 4 straight days because of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hanna! We managed to get a flight off the island the day before Hurricane Ike came to the islands. The day before we left (Sept 4, 200, my honey surprised me and proposed! We'll be cruising onto the island via Carnival Liberty with our close friends and family. We have been to St. Thomas before, but we went straight for St. John's Trunk Bay, which we absolutely loved! Anyway, we're still trying to figure out which beach we will be married at, so far Magen's Bay is winning, with Emerald Beach a close 2nd. We are considering using Paradise Bridal Consultants or Fantasiaweddings.com. If anybody has any comments about either of those two vendors, or any other St. Thomas wedding planners or recommendations, please let share. Thanks! My fiance and I are super busy professionals with our own businesses, so it makes it kind of hard to find time to really research everything, but we're doing our best. Anyway, congrats to all the brides to be newbies!
