    I caved in a took advantage of Michaels floral sale on silk flowers.....bought 5 bouquets for $30.00 all %50 off!! whooohooo how cheap am i! They look good though and I will add some bling and what not.

    Very interesting. I want to do a flight and hotel bundle b/c I'll save a lot of money, or so i've been told. Did you book on a website like obitz or did you book with a TA and get a block of rooms. I'm looking at AI package deals which are limiting as to how long you have to stay ans when you have to depart. SO i agree with how you've done it. My goal is to have everyone pay no more than $1600 CAD. I'm starting to consider other TAs now. I didn't even have access to prices last Dec/Jan. smith... did you do the same? Just book hotel and then book flight?

    hellomike! I'm from Vancouver and was in your position not too long ago. We were going to get married in Van. and decided not to b/c it would be so damn expensive! We chose Puerto Vallarta b/c it's closer then the Cancun side and not so humid! (Not to say I don't love the Mayan Riviera). Anyway, we're getting married at Dreams PV. Lemme know if you have any questions!

    I know it's been discussed but what are your ideas on doing a rehersal dinner? Can it be a casual meeting-informal at an AI restaurant or a meeting at cocktail hour? I really don't know what the protocol is on this.

    For all BC, Canada brides and International brides....Check out: ubagz designs and U.Bagz - Uniquely Yours. I know she specializes in custom totes and travel roll-ups (nice bridesmaid gifts). I say BC brides because she's in Vancouver somewhere but I know she ships wherever. As well, try Portobello West fashion and art market for local BC designers.

    Welcome! I'm from Vancouver! I'm getting married in Nov. 09' in Puerto Vallarta although our original plan was the Mayan R. (where we got engaged) hence the MayanBride user name!!!

    Hey Jess! Yes we'll have to meet...!! I would imagine our pricing would be diff. since you're booking from the US. Thanks for offering I'm a little curious!! However, it's interesting to me b/c I was told that regardless of where you're from in North America prices for the end of 09' only come out around March. Did you book a 7 night AI flight & resort combo.?
