Well, my first instinct is to say if they have agreed to come to the wedding, booked their rooms, flights, etc... then it's not up to you to plan their transport to and from the airport. All of my guests are planning their own...
That being said, given the weather situation and the fact that you are working out travel arrangements for some of the family; I would lean towards saying that you should get involved in helping them or it could cause some problems. I would try to help find a reliable driver and vehicle to get them there. Perhaps there is someone else's car in the family that can be used and someone from your car group can switch to theirs to drive? As far as a hotel for the night before, maybe you can work out a deal with a hotel and split the cost with them OR if there are 4 of them; splitting a hotel room bw four people for one night shouldn't cost that much...
I wish I had a better solution for you; hopefully some of the other ladies have some more ideas.

I am not sure where you could find a photo album that would fit those pictures... personally I am not a huge fan of albums that you physically insert a picture into for something formal like a wedding (just my personal taste though, not trying to offend anyone). I would find a high res scanner; scan them onto my computer and make a nice custom album on Shutterfly or a like site.

Well, if you are doing these literally for hangovers (LOL) then the Gatoraid or Poweraid drink mixes for the water bottles would be best. Maybe do one of those and a Crystal Light mix for those that don't like sports drinks?

If she hasn't paid for the trip yet and you bought her BM dress; have one more talk with her. Explain how you feel exactly like you did on here to us... If that doesn't work, then kindly explain that her behavior is not an okay way to treat a friend and that you would rather her not be in the wedding as it is causing you extra stress on what is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life.
That is just my two cents here... I hope it all works out for you!

Hmmm... I am a bit torn on this one.
While I love the idea of 'getting the best of both worlds'; I also love the romance of using the same colors for your AHR as your wedding as it incorporates the same feel as your DW. Is there any way you could use the pink and green as accents; and incorporate some darker greens and/or browns as your primary colors to give it a more fall type look for Canada in the fall?

Hi Lali!! Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to the forum. You are in good hands with the gals on here; we all help to keep eachothers stress level down!

Hi Ladies,
I was perusing the Dreams PC forum and I found this amazingly detailed photo album that one of the users posted. I enjoyed it so much; the pics are great and made me more excited to get married there!
Slideshow of pictures, photos, and videos, from webshots
Enjoy!

Have you looked on Etsy yet? If you find something similar (even if its not in the right color) that you like; most of the sellers will custom make it in any color, slight style amendments that you want.

I voted for #2 because it matches the earrings best. Especially if you are wearing a necklace, earrings and bracelet; if you go for anything larger (although I love statement jewelry) IMO, the other two would be too much.

Oooooooo Megan!!!!!!!!! I LOVE it on you... it is absolutely perfect in ever way. It looks so amazing... I am so excited for you.

We simply could not afford to pay for the BM dresses for our BM's. That being said, I let them almost 100% decide on the dresses that they were going to wear and checked with each of them individually to ensure that they could afford it. FI and I also had also discussed that if any member of our BP could not afford to buy their wedding attire that we would front them the $$ if needed. The BM's actually decided on one dress that was more expensive than I felt comfortable having them buy (and it was too formal) - so, I ended up changing it to the VS convertible dresses which they all love; got at a great price with online coupons and all agreed that they would actually wear again so it was a good investment for them.
I think that it's an individual choice based on your budgets, relationships with your BP, etc... We also chose our resort based on the budgets of our BP and involved them and our parents in the decision making process to ensure that everyone could afford it before we booked.

I am in for meeting up with everyone. The Friday after Labor Day may work for me or any other time except Aug 1st - 8th in which I will be gone for my wedding!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Karen!!! He he.. It's not FI's favorite picture of us; but I really wanted to use one of us on the beach and I like it! It's cute and quirky; just like us.

Thanks everyone!!!
I have never thought of myself as DIY kind of gal and my creativity tended to only come out at my work; but I guess being laid off along with recovering from surgery - the wedding has become my creative outlet - LOL!
Quote:And the photoshare site was so super easy to set up... I borrowed the Shutterfly idea and some of the formatting from some of the gals on here and just made it my own so it mirrors our wedding website graphics wise.

Those came out so great!!!! Your guests are going to love them. =)

I really cannot add much to what the ladies already said ... Just wanted to send you a big hug for being such a great friend!

Yippy Andrea's review!!!!! LOL...
I am so excited that it went well and that some fellow Dreams PC brides are finally getting married so we can see pics and hear how it went!
You have made me feel so much more at ease about our wedding... =)
Congrats and I can't wait to see all the pics when they are done! The teasers were SO amazing!

They came out great!!!!
I do agree with Amarillis though.. I would streamline the fonts. I ended up using the same font for almost everything for my wedding; it has kind of become our 'wedding signature' font.

Well, those may be the new 'it' colors according to Martha - but I don't know if she is referring to DW's. IMO, I think that it's a super chic color combination and if you are truly in love with it; you can make it work for a DW, I would just make it a more elegant DW. Maybe sunny yellow dresses with white flowers and black accents...
Personally, I am not a bright color gal... we are doing light blue, chocolate brown and touches of gold. I like the more natural palette as it lets the beauty of the setting be showcased without distraction.
