So I have the option od 6pm on a thurday (June 27) or that Friday at 4pm?? What one is better I am having such a hard time! My wedding will be at the RIU Palace! Anything will help!

The steakhouse is good! All open air, loacted between the two different pools, in the middle of the resort, looks right onto the ocean and lands end. Any pic you see taken from the pool areas will be the same view from the steakhouse. It acts as the lunch buffet during the day and turns into the steakhouse at night! As soon as I get to my cabo pics I will send you what I have of it. If you are getting married on the beach, the steakhouse location is up a ramp from where the ceremony will be held. Def. the closest location to the beach area for a reception. There is a bar right up stairs, if you are not doing an open bar. Hope this helps!

Thanks to all! I am waiting to hear back from Paola. I think there still might be more times avalible then what the web site says! Anyone had that experience? ? Because without even putting down my deposit it blacked out the day I choose. So I am sure people fill out those requests and don't follow through! Thank again!

I am new too! I have stayed at the RIU palace! We loved the food! We love the resort and everything about it! So, we are going to return to get married there! From what I saw, get married on the beach and have the reception in the Mexican Terrance! How is the communicating going? I am kinda having a rough time with that! What email do you use?

So I just got dates back from the Riu palace and they only have Thursdays avalible? Any thoughts? Does this make is hard on guests? We have a "Thank you" dinner instead of a "Welcome" dinner? I just feel having it on a thurday night, if people have to come in on thurday, it won't give them time to settle, meet up with us, etc. I am so confused now!!!

Hi I am planning a June 2009 wedding at the RIU palace in CAbo! We stayed there in May 07 and LOVED every minute! After countless of trying to plan a backyard wedding, I gave up, consulted the family and made the choice to run off to cabo! I do have a couple questions for all of the experienced! Do I just have all my guest book their own travel? Or do I get a travel agent? Where has everyone found the best rates? Better to book sooner then later? I am already in contact with the coordinator there and trying to make my deposit! I have created a web site, because I want to give people enough time to plan and save! Sat or a Friday wedding? Does it matter, which day is better? How are the cakes? Setting up the Ipod music? Where did everyone have their "welcome dinner?" Thank you all so much! I am thankful to have a site such as this one!
