if you think chairs are going to deter people from standing around in their bathing suits, thats not going to happen. They are going to gather round, take many pictures, and even video tape it regardless. (i'm sure i am in MANY tourists vacation videos) I do think that chairs many LOOK better for the actual ceremony, but it definitely won't be a deterrent of lookey-loos in their speedos.

We didn't have chairs on the beach and honestly, it was no big deal. The ceremony is so short and then you end up walking down the beach for photos right away anyways.

we payed for the guests (figured they payed to come down there, the least we could do is pay for the supper!) it was a seafood dinner, but i had a guest who is allergic, and they made her something else. the photographer is contracted to the resort, his name is Adail he was AWESOME!!! totally recommend him!!! No prob, if you have any other questions, i'll fill you in!

hey! So the wedding was AMAZING! we did do it on the beach, people aren't very respectful, but the photographer scooted people out of the way. hey alisha... Some more questions for you... Did you bring the pink fabric on the table and pillars or was that supplied by the resort? Did you personalize your ceremony? Your own vows or special readings? Were they accommodating for that kind of stuff? (I am think about how we are going to exchange rings) OH, i also found out that they turned the beach bar into a seafood restaurant, so thats what we booked for the night! Hope the Lobster is good! What did you do at the supper? Did you have music? A dance? Ok so my wedding is 13 days away and I am starting to FREAK OUT!!!

HAHA.. yeah ours is going to be in July!!! It -36 celcuis today... ONLY 11 days 'till we leave!! anyways... we have our hall booked, but thats it! Are you sending out invites?? How "fancy" are you making them? Doesn't it seems like you are planning 2 weddings! What about food? I was thinking midnight lunch and serve tortillas and salsa at all the tables. We also plan on having a slide show of the wedding photos and showing the video of the ceremony. We live in a small town so my FI knows EVERYONE. There will probably be 250 people coming.

I had the issues too. I didn't really know who to ask and who not to ask. We have 32 people coming. I felt guilty if some of my friends came and then weren't in the bridal party,so we went with just witnesses. 1 maid of honor and 1 best man, and it couldn't be a relative (in Cuba legally) so it was easier to pick one. No body else seemed too offended and it simplified everything for everyone! GOOD LUCK!

I'm so happy to hear that it was great! We really had our hearts set on getting married on the beach though... hmmm.. hope its not to busy when we are there I guess. Did you see the new beach-side restaurant? I booked it with a lobster supper and hope it is worth the extra money! I am also super relieved to hear that the photographer was good! i was kinda concerned! The flowers you had looked great too.. did you get to pick what kind of flowers you wanted? Sorry for all the questions!
