thanks to you both for your support, we are just praying that we still get the date and time we want or i will be very upset

hi baj the forms are already signed just not been sent!! i am ringing the wedding department tomo after 11am (they said they recieve there post at 11 every day) i will be asking them to send the wedding pack to our home address not TA! i am very mad, it just annoys me that they are so casual about it all its like your bothering them they have got to relaise they are messing with peoples wedding days!! i told them on phone that if we dont get our date and time it will be down to them!! lay the guilt trip on them!

i rang thomsons today and was very angry!! and guess what they found the forms that we had filled in 4 weeks ago sat with a pile of paper not even been sent to the wedding department!!! so she has sent them out today...no you cant have confirmation until they recieve the signed forms! i thought destination weddings were supposed to be stress free!?

aaaaarrrrrrrrhhhhh!! just phoned thomsons wedding department and they have not recieved the forms we filled in 4 weeks ago from our TA!!! when i rang thomsons last week they said they sent them 4 weeks ago!!! they said they have been holding the date for us but were waiting on our TA its time for bridezilla!!! both dresses very nice but i would say one on the right

we want 4pm beach wedding, dinner at mammee bay at 6.30pm and the beach or pool side reception with DJ and open bar...but will just be happy with finding out the bloody date and time!!

i have read the earliest dinner is 6.30pm thats why 4pm is so popular as your day flows easily. we can only hope! what have you planned for your dinner and evening reception?

thanks for that baj theres only 2 dates we can get married as were there easter w/end you cant get married on the fri or monday, so hopefully we will get one of those dates!? and we also want 4pm. you need to know your time because if you cant get 4pm and end up with an earlier time you have to make plans for the gap in the day and it will be to late when you arrive to arrange things!! it all seems to be just waiting around for other people very frustrating!! will ring soon will let you know what they say

after reading so many posts there seems to be alot of inconsistency, thats crazy baj!! i would be fuming to!! what is the number for the wedding department i will give them a ring!? when do we find out about our reception is it when we get there or can you reserve this by e-mail so confused and frustrated!!

hi we booked in November 08!!!!! so slightly over due! your right though it doesnt seem real until they confirm when your actually getting married

the reason we booked through TA was because they said if you book it yourself then you have to sort all your paper work out and when you get there there is more to sort but through them they sort it all for you?? prob a load of rubbish just to get their bonus!!! anyway never mind like you say fingers crossed and hopefully we all get what we want : )

hi baj... we have been waiting about 3 weeks now, went in to thomsons today actually and the hotel confirmed they had recieved the forms but still heard nothing re date and time!!?? we were told when we booked our group booking back in Nov that it would all be confirmed end of March early April so getting frustrated now!!! just worried that people who booked wedding online are getting first priority and we will not get what we want!!

hi all when do you get confirmation for your meal and evening reception? we are still waiting for confirmation for april 1st at 4pm....fingers crossed, should be this week!!

thats strange!?? i think by the sounds of it we would be better going through hotel directly especially as our travel agent is never in work and never gets back to us!! very frustrating!! all we want to know is our date, time and reception...i am worried now that people who want same date have already got confirmation as they went direct through hotel!! : (

Hi We have just recieved our forms etc but have been told by Thomsons that the forms need to be sent back before confirmation of day and time, we have done this and are just waiting now!!...what did you get in your pack? And does anyone know when you can arrange your meal and reception? oh we go March 22nd 2010

thanks for that, the pics are amazing!! exactly how we imagined it if you dont mind me asking how much was the beach reception, is it alot cheaper without the bbq menu, what about DJ and open bar?? did you ask for the chairs and the flowers from the wedding ceremony to be used at mammee bay, because of all the pics i have seen of mammee bay that is the best i have seen it set up for a wedding!! can you ask for the white linen table cloth or bring your own so many questions!! P.S your daughter is gorgeous!!

Hi all Just wondering if anyone has any pics of their beach reception at the ROR as were thinking about this option? And if you have your free reception dinner at the mammee bay can you still have the beach reception as an extra after your dinner?? Thanks in advance
