Hi Teesha, Sounds as though we are in very similar situations. Our wedding is on March 18 and we havent heard anything from Landy or Lizette either. But strangely enough the spa sent me an email asking when I wanted my hair and makeup scheduled for? Our full deposit is due November 5th...and we have been on an emotional rollercoaster. My family has been really supportive and basically reassured me that we have almost 5 months for this situation to be sorted out. I also contact TICO (TRAVEL INDUSTRY COUNCIL OF ONTARIO) and informed them of the situation incase our tour operator tries to "pull one over on us." Stay strong hun and I'm leaning towards riding this one out. The Dreams team appears to be on top of trying to ensure that other brides have the wedding of their dreams, so I'm placing my faith in them. In the end, we sided with our travel agent and decided to move our wedding to another resort to prevent the possibility of a "wedding smell" to remember forever. We hope this helps... Our wedding party leaves March 12th from Toronto and we scored a group deal (10+ people) for $1399 + tax for Dreams Tulum! We worked out with our TA well in advance as we feared that the prices would skyrocket. We received this quote in May 2008...people are now being quoted $2100+ for the very same vacation. If you have any other questions don't hesitate....best of luck and congrats )

Morning ladies, Found this stunning pic from Jewels wedding. We are DEFINITELY going to mimic it during our photo shoot, so thought I'd share. Considering we are seriously considering a reception at the massage hut (less than 20 people) it could be quite pretty. Just wondering what your thoughts are for the large glass urns...they wont be easy to transport on the plane, any suggestions or similar alternatives? jewel.pdf

Hi ladies! I've finally received a response in regards to having a small reception dinner at the massage hut. It depends upon the package you choose. Because we have selected the Ultimate package, this shouldn't be an issue. Otherwise, Lizet has indicated that there would be the $750 fee to have a "private dinner" Hope this helps, Rachel

Dreamstbride, Neen posted a pic of what appeared to be a private dinner at the massage hut. Just keep in mind that it is relatively small (no more than 20 people). I have also sent Landy an email to inquire if we can reserve this for our receptions site, so if I hear anything I'll keep you posted ) As for the wiring, this may be a little tricky due to the distance they would need to wire across the sand. Maybe you could bring a laptop with a lengthy battery life and play from there...just a suggestion.

Has anyone found out what the dimensions are for the gazebo? I picked up some tulle in our wedding colours but now I'm afraid that I didn't get enough!!! HELP!
