She told me she´d never knew of anyone so detailed beside herself. I think she meant anal! lol The cinque terre is going to look fabulous with all my decor and the Plaza is going to be the envy of everyone here. Yay! A few days to go, in the meantime Im relaxing until the rest of my 10 bags arrive between Thursday and Friday and of course the rest of my 92 guest list arrive. lol Yay. Ill keep you posted. Hugs!!!!! Very cool! Are you booking the Cinque Terre as an A la Carte? Are you paying for a private dinner/reception there? Are you having dancing after dinner at the Cinque Terre and are you bringing your own table runners? I saw that they have turquoise runners there...Have a great wedding day!
  2. I was thinking of doing the same...I have a friend who is a make up artist at MAC, so when I go to Toronto in December, I will do my trial with her and then have friend do my make-up in the DR and touch it up myself.
  3. Hi! Does anyone know where I can get a stand for my shell? I would like to purchase one but not sure where? Thanks for any info!

I am going with Juan Guzman photography. Their orices are reasonable and his work is great. Not only does he do weddings but he is also an art/editorial photographer. I wanted to have a variety of pics. You can google him and there are samples on his website. I hope that that doesn't further confuse you! Cheers. 89 days till we wed!

It is my mom and my step dad that were stressing me out a bout the at-home reception. They want to do it their way. So we decided not to do anything since we wouldn't be around to plan it and make decision. We live overseas so we would basically be leaving it up to our parents who do not know each other well to plan together. That is not an option. We told everyone to concentrate on getting to and having fun at the destination wedding!

All the resorts in the DR recomend them and god forbid you forget one of your doccuments when yo arrive they are right there and can get them to you. Using DSR1 is not the Dominican consulate in Toronto as they try to tell everyone they are. They are a huge rip off. We got a quote before we where married and they tried to charge us over $800 USD and then another $150 after we came home to translate the doccuments back to english. Check out WEDO and use them with ultimate confidance, they are directly connected to all USA and Canada Dominican consulates This is great news. So when we will be able to register our marriage in Canada if we use WeDo? Thanks for the info becasue I was going to use this place. Now I will def rethink it. J.
  7. Hi! These are great! But I was wondering if I could only purchase one of the larger ones from you with a stand?
  8. Not sure if this is the place to write this but I write back and forth you ladies the most, so here it is. We were contemplating having an at home reception when we get back from the DR. My parents want to do it their way and my FI's parents want to do it their way. In the end, I would not like to have anything since our familes can't agree and I don't want our wedding in Punta Cana to be spoiled. Our families are from diff worlds and have an idea of what a reception should look like. It is also going to be hard to compromise, so I thought we would just have two separate lucnhes, one with my fam and one with his? Tell me your thoughts. J.

Its beautiful and the staff has been sooooooooooooo great. Today Im meeting with the wedding cordinator Elizabeth. Ill post more details about that later. Yesterday they had a small beach wedding and it was cute. I started crying thinking THATs going to be me in 2 months. WOW The wedding was for 30 people and they had their reception in one of the restaurants, it had a sign private event. i have 89 people confirmed and I cant imagine having that many people in one of the restaurants, so we are doing a private reception. FYI, every Friday night they have a beach party. OMG...it was great. Im going to have a rehearsal dinner for my actual wedding party but after, Im going to meet everyone at the beach party. Buffet style setup, bbq, and even a pig. They have music, activities for the kids. ITs perfect. It rained for like 10mins, the music stopped, everyone went under cover, then when it cleared, you hear the music play and everyone comes back out like nothing happened. This place is amazing. We over did it with the drinks last night and ended up at the club, The Tantra Bar, great music btw, we danced like fools and crawled back to our room by 11p. We woke up at 6am alittle hungover and went straight to the buffet. Great food. One thing, I do recommend everyone upgrade to the Paradise Club wristbands. We did, for 40 bucks a night per person. We get access to the private pools and premium drinks with them. (As a courtesy they upgraded our room too, which should of been 90 bucks more per person per night) Free internet for those with the pink wristbands, so here I am writing to you all how excited I am about the Edenh. Im so glad I came out here. This isnt even a full review. Wait til I get back! lol Im taking TONS of pics so as soon as I get back, Ill post them. For now, all those pics on webshots, do this place no justice. Did i tell you all Im soooooooo excited? I am and you should be too.... Great news! Thanks for all the info. Look forward to the rest of your review and pics!
  18. Love the look of your reception! Very Martha Stewart! Beautiful!

You can probably get like half your money back! Great idea! You sound like a true e-bayer! I saw your bouquet. It is gorgeous. Is the pink flower hibiscus? Who did your flowers?
  20. How did everyone pack the parasols on your flight? In your luggage? As a carry-on? Did you have any problems at security? Thanks. And you are right, Pamela Parasols is double the price. I realized this after checking again...
  21. Did anyone try Pamela's Parasols? The prices of their products and shipping is reasonable.
  22. Congratulations once again! can't wait to hear all about it ans see all about it!
