  5. Hello, I have several questions if you have time and I'm on a tight budget. I'm going for the complimentary package so do you know any dinner options that won't be an extra cost? There will be a total of 15 of us. Can we have the dinner in the Seaside Grill at no extra cost? Is there somewhere to have a dance afterwards? Preferably not the Disco? A first dance, dance with Dad etc? Do you have to pay the judge the $50 for transportation the website suggests? Did you use the resort photographer? Were you happy with the results and quality? Best priced? Thank you for any help you offer! It's very appreciated as I'm nervous about the response time from the resort. I realize I have more than enough time for planning but I'm SOOOO excited!!
  6. Welcome! I'm a Dreams Tulum Bride!
  7. Civil ceremony requires blood work (totally safe and they come right to the hotel $150'ish), the symbolic does not require blood work. I have read the bus ride is close to 2 hours due to all the stops at other hotels - been told its worth paying for a bus. There are a million photos of the whole resort at tripadvisor.com. Again, this is all info I've read, not my own experience. Loads of info on tripadvisor.
  8. Babycow - I have read spa info on here somewhere and I don't have enough points to open the links. So, if you go to the first page of this thread, DreamsTulumBride has some things to look at as well as page 14 of this thread, Sunbride has a link for some more helpful info. Hopefully it's in there??
  9. I also love the bonfire idea, hope you guys keep us all posted. Is there anyone else doing the "Wedding in Paradise" package? the complimentary package? I'd love to hear from you and any info you can share. Thank you
  10. Dreams seems to be the place to go! Happy planing!
  11. Our date is January 15th, 2009........pending on a confirmation from Sandra... I received the first email from her today but no date. I've found myself thinking of "Sunbride" often today as she leaves tomorrow!! Lucky girl! her newsletter is phenomenal. Only having 14 guests at our wedding.
  12. Hello everyone, so glad to be here and from what I've read so far, this is a fountain of information for those of us who have never set foot in Mexico! I'm thrilled!!
