Cabo OR Bust

Hi all, After reading the board, I realized that a lot of you are paying additional to have a welcome dinners and rehearsal dinners. Does anyone know at Dreams Cabo if we can have the welcome dinner at one of the restaurants since it's an all inclusive? Or is it an extra charge bc of the large group at once? Thanks!

After setting a date with Hilton, FI looked at prices and asked me to get quotes from Dreams Los Cabos. UGH! I feel like I've taken 3 steps back due to budget...I wish it were easier but i guess it's part of the planning. I think after reading the thread that Dreams would be more suitable for my budget...apprx. 40-50 ppl, stay at 10k (if possible), 15k max. Do you think that's possible?

I'm also in the process of booking for November 2008...I wanted the Whale Watching or Sun Fun Hut, but was told that my group (50-60) is too small to have a reception there and I'd have to pay a site fee plus consumption fee. Are you running into this as well? Also, I was was quoted $250 + tax for November 2008

Wow, I just went through and read the thread on budgets...reality check! We were thinking Hilton to take advantage of Hilton Honors points to pay for our room and our parents. I'm thinking we'll have around 40-60 guest. I envision small and intimate, but at this point, it looks like it's going to be more than I imagine. Experienced brides: Is 10k out of the question? I figured if we have, say, 40 guests @ $100/pp, the food & bev would be $4000. When I was quoted by Carolina @ Hilton, she said apprx. $100/pp, but does that include alcohol? FI and I are funding the wedding ourselves, and FIL are going to fund rehearsal dinner. Any information is valuable information! Thanks so much everyone!

I'm thinking more Hilton now that I've done some research on the villas. They are quite expensive! My budget is around 5-7k, is that possible at the Hilton?

Hi, I'm Susan & I'm planning to be married in Cabo and we are look into the Hilton bc my fiance has tons of Hilton Honors points.
