  1. We used Mango. Jerome and Karla were great. The best part is that you get an album and all your digital pictures before you leave. I highly recommend them.
  2. Hi, We had our reception on the San Jose Terrace. Riu provided the speakers and we had our iPod. A close friend served as emcee. It was great. I am not a big fan of DJs and we had fun creating our playlists. The speakers were of good quality and it was easy to set up. Though, we did bring our own adaptor for the iPod. Hope this helps.
  3. Hi, I got married at the RIU Palace in November. You need to have everything translated before you arrive (each birth certificate and apostille). We used BB Spanish and it was ~$50 per document and it took about two days. I just scanned each one in and emailed it to them, and they sent it to me via FedEx. I then scanned everything and emailed it all to Daniela two weeks prior to our arrival. [email protected] Hope this helps.

We wanted to have enough room to dance and not have to worry about other people since our party is kinda big. That might be an option that you would want to think about. If you have any other questions, just let me know. We also are having ~60 guests and reserved the entire restaurant for our reception. Congrats Jennyle! Please let us know how it went when you get the chance.
  5. A&P08, How many people/tables did you have at your reception? Thanks,
  6. Kamay, Varia took some great pictures of a wedding reception at the San Jose terrace. Those might give you a better idea. It is the featured wedding on her web site Wedding in Los Cabos. About the semi-private thing, you'll just have to go with what you are comfortable with.
  7. The $500 is for one-seating, it goes up to $1000 if you want the terrace to be private from 6:30-11 pm. Food is included in this price (standard menu) at both the San Jose terrace and the steak house terrace.
  8. A&P08, Thanks for the advice. I read your review and was happy to see how positive your experience was. I also saw your pictures. Everything looked fabulous. When you were on the terrace, how many guests did you have?
  9. Hi All, I have booked the San Jose restaurant terrace for my reception. Right now ~50 people have RSVP'd and I expect more (not sure how many, but at least 10). My question is if there is enough space for the tables and an area for dancing. We've spent some $ on dancing lessons, so we want an adequate floor for our dance and the guests. If there isn't enough space, we would have to reserve the whole restaurant for an additional $1300. Thanks!
  10. Aimee, Your pictures were beautiful. I really liked your centerpieces. Did you get those through Riu? Ziggymo

Hello, My name is Sadie and I was so excited to find this forum. I spent several hours browsing the posts last night. My fiance and I want to get married in Cabo in November. Right now I am looking at the Riu Palace resort. The posts/reviews I saw last night helped me a lot. If anyone has some advice or experience with this AI, I would love to hear it. Thanks, Ziggymo
