    Hi!!!

  3. Thank you all for the great messages. In terms of planning there is still a lot to do but I will take care of everything during the summer. I just bought some shoes, just in case I have the ceremony on the beach. My photographer is in Negril right now and he said he will stop by SATP and take pictures of the ceremony locations for me so I can decide. I guess that's the biggest decision I have left besides flowers. I just wish it was November already. Thanks everyone!!!
  4. Hi Everyone, I've been reading so much in this forum and haven't posted much. We finally picked a place 2 weeks ago. We will be married at Sunset at the Palms on November 21, 2008. This forum is great. You girls are so supportive and have wonderful ideas. From this site, I found my travel agent, my photographer, my location, OOT bags, and a fellow SATP bride - who is so supportive. Thank you all -- even though I don't post much you helped me so much! Even though there aren't many SATP bride, any advice would be great. Especially must do excursions and must see places around Negril! Also is a wedding rehearsal necessary? I only have a maid of honor, best man, and flower girl. Oh yeah and the groom HAHA!
  5. Legally I'm already married. Like most of the girls here, I feel safe knowing its legal in the US. Do not change your name on your passport. Your passport needs to be the same name as your ticket. My husband and I got married in the courthouse. Now we do not have to pay for the legal services in Jamaica and we do not need to wait for a marriage license...so we saved a little $$$ and time. We already have our marriage certificate. Our witnesses were my cousin and my good friend (who is not going to the DW). We didn't invite our parents or anyone not going to the DW so they feel they are celebrating our special day in Jamaica. Our family and friends know we are legally married but since they were not there to witness it, they are treating our DW as our official wedding and are really excited.
  6. You looked so beautiful. I can't wait to go to Jamaica...I'm 7 months and 12 days away! Your bouquet is exactly what I want! Can you PM me a picture of it
  7. I've been searching for the perfect invitation!!! You just made them! You did a great job. Want to do mine? hahaha!!! I will be sending mine with personalized luggage tag for each guest. ~christine

  9. Hi Angie, Yeah I was thinking about Sandals Negril as well. Since the sister company is Beaches and children are allowed there. So many decisions to make! Let me know what you decide...I'll do the same ~Christine
