I am selling this brand new, never altered, never worn wedding gown - PRICE LOWERED!! Sweetheart neckline, strapless (there are places to add straps if you wish), jeweled/rhinestone bodice, size 10 (fits more like a size 8 or so, but is easy to fit because it is a flowy gown instead of fitted). I purchased this dress brand new and originally intended on using it as my TTD, but found out that the alterations were a lot more than I had anticipated because the dress didn't fit me and was much too long for me. I ended up finding another dress that fit me much better, thus less alterations. I am asking $299 OBO. I will cover shipping costs. Check out the link below for photos. Please PM me if you are interested or if you would like to see additional photos or have any questions! Thanks! Image of Wedding Dress - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I actually don't get married @ The Royal Playa Del Carmen until March 1, 2008. So, I can't answer too many questions at this time. I can tell you that so far the experience has seemed way too easy. We are less than 3 months out and I feel like I have to be missing something because it seems so easy! We are having just a few people come to our wedding, so as far as a DJ is concerned, that won't be necessary because we will not have the need for a real "reception". We will be having a dinner on the beach after our ceremony and the menu that we have received to choose from is absolutely amazing! I cannot wait to taste it because it sounds so good. We have hired our photographer and have chosen Elizabeth Medina. You can check out her website: Mexico Wedding Photography, Yucatan, Mexico, Elizabeth Medina photographer. She is amazing from what we have seen and I think that will be not only the best part of our day because it will capture the memories, but will be the best money spent. Let me know if you have any other questions or if I can be of any help. I know that when I was making my decisions, I had tons of questions that I wanted answers to!! Good Luck and let me know if I can help! Becky

I also aked for a separate quite for the TTD from Elizabeth Medina and decided to add it onto the package. However, I believe if you take time out of your wedding day package, you could include it for the same price. I didn't want to take any time away from my package, so I decided to do the TTD early the next morning.

I am doing a TTD session with my photographer, Elizabeth Medina, at my resort in Playa Del Carmen. Check out her website - she is really great: Mexico Wedding Photography, Yucatan, Mexico, Elizabeth Medina photographer Also, I bought a second dress for the shoot. I know I will probably never use my wedding dress again, but my Mom would faint if I told her I was going to take a chance at ruining it somehow:)

Okay, I need help yet again making my book. Everytime that I load a new vertical picture onto the page and try to keep it at a full page (full bleed), the picture is too big. So, I then have to go into the "enhance photo" and zoom out. This creates space on the right and left sides of the photo in order to make the top and bottom the right sizes. I have tried to resize it in photoshop and save it smaller, but it doesn't have any affect when I put it into the bookmaker program - no matter what size it is on my computer, it comes up the same size in the program - TOO BIG!! Anybody know what to do here so that I don't have those spaces on the right and left sides??

I figured out the modes and I figured out how to do it Morgan's way. I was trying to do what you suggested (the other way takes me a LONG time), but I am not sure how you select the things you want in color? Is there a certain tool to use for that?

I did find out after emailing customer service for MyPublisher that they do not offer the double page or centerfold, but the MPix does and I have since figured that one out - thanks to Angela! As far as the LumaPix, I am only making 2 books, so I don't think I am going to spend the $$ for that program, but it sounds very nice and super high quality. So, at this point, I am leaning towards MPix because of the option (I just think MyPublisher is so much easier to navigate!). But, still wondering if anyone knows if SharedInk gives this as an option?

Hi girls! Need some help creating my own photo book. I think I am going to go with My Publisher, but still considering Mpix and Shared Ink. The problem I am having is how to create one picture that takes up two pages / a centerfold. I have tried searching through the help sections, but can't find anything. Have any of you that have used one of these programs been able to create a centerfold or know how??

I am just not getting as much information from them as I would like. I would like a beach wedding, but they tell me the beach is not big enough. I asked for pictures, and they say they don't have any. I am worried about food, the reception (I have never seen pictures of what it might be like). They don't even have pictures of the flowers they offer. So I am thinking about maybe the Royal in PDC or going back to the original plan of EDR (which I am not too thrilled about because of Lomas). Any thoughts? If anyone has any specific information from The Royal Cancun or The Royal PDC, I would really really appreciate the info. Thank you thank you thank you! I am getting married on the beach and also having my reception on the beach at The Royal Playa Del Carmen, so that should not be a problem. The wedding coordinator there is Paty and the reception coordinator is Walter and they both respond pretty quickly to my emails. Let me know if you want their email addresses (PM me and I will give you what I have). As far as pictures, I have a couple pictures of the options they give you (where to have the reception: beach, by the pool, ballroom, etc) that I can forward on to you. I do also have pictures from another girl that married there - she sent me her pictures from her wedding. In reference to the flowers and things like that, I was told by the WC that everything for 2008 starts getting reserved/planned in Nov of 2007. So, I have been told that they can send me all of the flower options, cake options, decorations, etc in November and that is when I can start making those types of decisions. I also have menu information for the reception so that you can look at the food choices. Let me know what I can do to help out!

I am getting married at The Royal Playa Del Carmen in March of 2008. I have never been there, but did a lot of research as far as reviews and information - check out Reviews of vacations, hotels, resorts, vacation and travel packages - TripAdvisor and you can see LOTS of candid photos from previous guests. As far as children, The Royal Playa Del Carmen does not allow children, but their sister resort next door does allow children - The Gran Porto Real. I do have some of my guests that are bringing children and are planning on staying at the sister resort. The children are, of course, allowed to be present at the wedding and/or reception, but cannot stay as a guest at the hotel overnight. Let me know if I can help you out in any way.

How Big is Your Bridal Party?

I know we are a little over 6 months out, but everyone has made it pretty clear that they aren't going to be able to make it. So far, we have a confirmed 6 (one of which we feel may back out). So, this is my question...what did you do for the reception. I was just thinking of whether we should even have one if there will only be 6. I figure our guests may not want to spend hours with each other for a dinner and how many people will really dance?? Just wondering what you did...(not trying to hijack the post - sorry!!) -
Okay...so, I am scheduling my hair and makeup appoinments and have some questions. How much time did you/are you going to allow for hair and makeup? Did/will you you schedule your makeup and hair in your hotel room? Did you/will you do makeup or hair first? How much time did you/will you allow to dress? What is sufficient so that I am not rushing around? Finally, for any of you who plan on or have already decided to get a pedicure/manicure for the wedding day, did you do it the day of the wedding or before? Thanks for all of your help!

We expect between 30 and 50 to attend. Hi. We are getting married at 2pm and this is how we are handling the time: 2-2:30pm wedding ceremony, 2:30-3:30pm cocktail hour on the beach, 4pm reception starts, dinner served at 4:30pm, eat from 4:30pm-5:30pm, DJ plays, dancing until 8pm. Then, I figured for any of the guests that want to hand out, we'll just head to one of the resort bars/pool area. Maybe you could push the wedding to 2pm? But, if not, I think that brunch sounds fun - it is just dependent on whether you want dancing, drinking, etc.

If so, could you send me the template you used? I am having a ton of trouble trying to create the postcard. This should be the easiest part, but I can't seem to get it right. Those are by far the best invites I have seen so far! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They are so beautiful. You have definitely inspired me to attempt to do my own, but I am not sure if I can get myself to do 100! How much will you end up spending in total for the 30 (including postage) if you don't mind me asking? I want to try to see if I will save some $$ if I go through the stress of doing my own! Again, AMAZING job!! Everyone is right - you should think about doing this for a living!
