i was thinking the same thing about those individual names but i hate the idea of adding in another font. i am going to have a couple samples printed at Staples and see what it looks like printed. oohh - you just sparked a good idea - that font is 'Sloop' and there is a non-curved one for free at fonts 101 - it will still have the same character as the other Sloop font but probably be easier to read!

THANK YOU! the design part is somewhat easy for me (it better be - i have a master's in interior design so graphics are pretty closely related) where i am worried is in all of the cutting, perforating and all that - that is where i have 2 left handsQuote:

Sadly we're literally only going to be there for one day (the party) because we're actually attending a wedding in DC on Saturday - driving down Sunday - having the party in the evening and flying out Monday! Yikes! I feel sad because it would have been fun to meet up! -

Tami & Tlseege - i had Attlia make my engagement invite - i am going to print it on 5x7 photo paper and mount on a blueish/ teal card stock!

Thank You All! the background photo was actually pretty easy to insert - i just made all of the other boxes 'no fill' and made the photo order 'behind text'.
i am going to take a disc to Staples and get a couple samples printed!

so i stayed up until 3am last night on an insomniac STD mission
take a look at what i came up with ...
(couple of notes)
- i put xxxxafter our names to block them out so i don't get so many stalkers like Heidi
- the backgroud image is a little bigger than the actual boarding pass but i will cut them to size
- i am planning on individually personalizing each one with the guests name and departure city - (top right) does the font look too small?
- our website is locked because the inner pages are all crazy and we have to make the time to finish it - i will send the password when it is up and running!
- overall, i am thinking of 100lb cardstock, a natural blue/teal top seal #10 envelope, pre-printed with our return address on the back and the guests address on front with our logo on there as a decorative element. i am also considering custom made stamps from zazzle.com!

Anyway I'm pretty sure this is French Alencon lace (I think... I know my longer one is) and the lace is really beautiful. I kind of wish I had worn this one it's so pretty - but there's no reason to just keep it in my closet!
Anyway it has never been used in a wedding but since it's a sample it does have a tiny (unnoticeable when worn) hole in the tulle up near the comb. Its about the size of the tip of a pinky (see picture where I have my pinky stuck through to show where it is).
I would love to sell it for $25 plus the shipping cost (not much, right? maybe a few dollars in the US and a bit more to Canada?)
