    Personally, I think that it is ridiculous to charge for a cake tasting! Especially when you are already paying them a big chunk of money for your wedding cake. We actually got ALL of our tastings for free - Dinner Tasting, Wine Tasting, as well as a Cake Tasting. Hmmm...maybe I just took all of the free tastings for granted?? I am curious to know if anyone else had to pay....

    Hi and welcome to the forum! After becoming engaged, the first thing that I did was decide on a location and accommodations. Once that part is done, the rest will seem easy! That being said, I think that the size of the resort is up to your own personal preference. It was very important to us to have a private, intimate wedding, so, we ended up renting out a smaller place that could accommodate all of our guests.     I think I have found my Bridesmaids Dresses! (see pic) NOW, I am trying to tackle the boys attire. They will be wearing khaki pants and white button-up shirts. I would like for FI to wear a tie, but he refuses to wear pink. What other color would look good with these dresses?? I am afraid of everything clashing!! Thanks, girls!

    OH, I love it! The beach is beautiful, and the scenery is breathtaking! I really love all of the lanterns everywhere - I bet that is pretty at night. How was everything else on your site visit? What all did you get to do??

    Shelley, Since first reading this post, you have been in my thoughts constantly. I know that this is an extremely difficult time for you, and my heart goes out to you. Remember, that there are many ways to become a Mommy. Maybe you will become one in a different way than you pictured or maybe in the way you have always imagined.     ..put divorced parents on the same line?? The bold names are FI's biological parents. They are both divorced and re-married, but FI only wants to include their names(not their spouses) on the invite. Can I put them on the same line?? Example: Mr. and Mrs. Paul H**** invite you to share in their joy at the marriage of their daughter Jacquelyn Carol H**** Jared Joseph M**** son of Mr. John M****and Mrs. Ann R*** TIA!
