I've spent the last 2 days pampering myself and it has been absolutely freaking fantastic

Yesterday I got my legs waxed (ouch) but I made up for it with an hour long facial...today I went and got my nails done and I'm just sitting around at my mom's place now just waiting for my sister to do a pedicure for me.

I love to pamper myself

Yup...camera is a must...we want lots of pics!

And wear some good underwear...no skimpy thongs....it's uncomfortable standing in front of a 60 year old woman who's trying to help you with your dress while you're wearing a thong Not that I've had any personal experience or anything haha

I have a HUGE issue with FI's sister....she's a bitch, plain and simple.

I'm civil to her, but I in no way like her...or even anything about her.

And I've tried and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but it's just not working.

Prime example...at my bachelorette party she was a good half hour late for dinner, she blamed it on everyone else but herself, she ragged me out in front of all my friends because she couldn't find the restaurant (she walked by the window 3 times...we sat and watched her), after dinner we went salsa dancing...she didn't want to dance, she stood by herself and looked miserable the whole time, then we went to another club and the bartenders really sucked...they were super slow...well somehow it became my fault that she had to wait to get a drink...she literally grabbed me by the arm, dragged me aside and yelled at me because she had to wait to get a drink.

That's what i have to put up with every time i'm with her It's like give it up already, life is not that awful, ya know?

Bah sorry I just totally hijacked your thread, but what I'm trying to say is you're not alone hun....you just kind of have to put her on ignore I think.

She obviously thinks that the world owes her something. Don't feel threatened by her, you're better than that!

I don't know if you know or not but the Summer 2006 edition of Martha Stewart Weddings had an aqua/red theme going on!

this is one of my favourite colour combos, but holy hannah was it hard to find anything!

there are a few things that are aqua/brown or aqua/pink but i thought they'd be super pretty if you changed the off colours to red!

We're paying $1700 for our wedding package (ceremony, 3 hr reception, my bouquet, FH's bout, cake, music at ceremony, 1/2 massage for both of us, breakfast in bed next morning, 2 bottles of champagne forafter the ceremony, gift delivered to room, and a whole bunch of other yummy stuff) which includes 20 people.

Then $600 for the extra 24 people on top of that first 20.

$40 for the judge's transportation, $180 for our blood tests, $35 for our apostille seal

$104 for extra flowers (MOH's bouquet & GM's bout, corsage for mom, bout for dad)

$54 for 3 extra botles of champagne

and then probably around $250-300 in tips

I think that's it other than our favours and that kind of stuff.
