  3. Congrats on you losing your weight. I don't know about you, but the first and second week starting WW have been really tough for me. One mistake that I have made going into my second week on WW was that i didn't start out "measuring" to see if I've lost inches and not just watching the stupid scale all of the time. When I work out, and do cardio...I tend to gain muscle. So when I weigh myself, it will show that either I haven't lost any weight, or gained. In reality, I have probably just gained muscle. So measuring is just as important. Hope this helps!

By the way, I have just recently posted a few recipes that I tried, and they were awesome!!!! You can also find some WW recipes onling and just google WW recipes.

    Good luck!

  4. ok, I didn't post anything last week becuase I was dissapointed with my progress.....but this is my second week and had a weigh in and actually lost 3pounds! I know it takes time, but for someone with ADD.....it seems like it's gonna take forever to get to my goal weight! Not to mention that I have only given myself 5 short months to lose weight!

    WW really does work!

I'm actually doing google searches for WW recipes....you would be surprised of how many people post recipes! They make their own with the recipe builder i believe.....
I'm trying a new one tonight in the crockpot since the porkchops were such a hit! I'll let you all know how it turns out. It's called "No peek chicken casserole".
  6. I also tried this one that I found.....It's very simple, and it cooks in the crock pot all day...then just had some whole grain rice with it......We really liked it....including the kids!

    Enjoy!

Crockpot Peking Pork Chops (7 Points)

6 pork chops, about 1" thick

    1/4 c. brown sugar

    1 t. ground ginger

    1/2 c. soy sauce

    1/4 c. ketchup

    1-2 cloves garlic, mashed

    salt & pepper, to taste

Trim excess fat from pork chops. Place pork chops in crockpot. Combine brown sugar, ground ginger, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, salt & pepper. Pour mixture over meat in crockpot. Cook, covered, on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until tender. Season with: salt & pepper (optional) Serve with: steamed white rice (we like jasmine rice) and/or Chinese noodles

Notes: Makes 6 servings. This works well with pork steaks too. If you use pork chops you get 6 @ 7 pts. I you use pork loin chops, it knocks it down to 4 pnts per serv. I made it with chicken thighs and it comes in at 3 pts.

  7. Just wanted to let you all know about this yummy recipe that i found for WW. My kids loved it, and we had left overs for a few days.....

(I used a rotisserie sp? chicken instead)

    ENJOY!!!!!

  8. Ok, Ive been missing in action lately, and i have just decided that I need to take charge of my weight considering that the wedding is about 5 months away! I have had several friends be very successful with WW, but have to admit i'm a little lost here at the beginning. I went online and joined the 7 day free trial......It seems pretty cool but just wondering how many of you actually eat WW frozen foods, how you count your points, and if it has worked for you! I don't really get into the idea of going to any meetings and i am normally at home, so the frozen meals willl actually work really nice for me. What else would you suggest that i buy to get started?!!!!!

My fiance is a great cook, and is interested in trying some new recipes..so can I go to the book store to buy the WW recipe book?

Thanks so much in advance to all of your replies and help!!!!

Congrats to you for such a huge wedding party!!!!!!
You know, I was just thinking.....Claudia did mention that they do on property special nights.....I think on Tuesday and Friday night's maybe? If our party was any bigger, we would go this route becuase it's already paid for and free entertainment for all of your guests!!!!!!! (I think that they will reserve tables for you and it's on the beach i believe)
    Hope this helps!
