I am so, so, SO excited for you ... I do feel like my sis just got married! Quote: Originally Posted by dragonfly It looks like you had the perfect day, at the perfect place. I am SOOOOOO glad it's done and over! I know many of you miss wedding planning - not me! Tammy - isn't it nice just to come home and, well, be home w/o thinking "what do I need to get done for the wedding?" Love it! Every time I see another picture of yours it makes me more excited to see Jaun's ... maybe I should send him a quick little message.
  10. welcome! you definitely came to the right place for info. on Cabo ... just ask any questions you have - and someone will be able to answer them!

  12. welcome (a little late) - but there are pleny of RM brides on here to help!
  13. sorry I am so late here .... but welcome to the forum!
  14. ooohhh - don't go there! you can't blame that disaster on us (oh lord, i hope not anyway!) - lol i did get a lot of laundry done, and thank-you notes, and general house-keeping. that all ended as soon as the forum came back up though.
  15. exactly - it worked out well for us. we gave everyone the option of using Tammy, and that was their "easiest" option, or they could go on their own. my main reason for using a TA was I just didn't want to deal with all of the questions - i book travel for myself all week long, i don't want to do it for anyone else!

I also let my guests know that we have a group block set aside and to contact Tammy to make reservations. Kind of like assuming they'll use Tammy, and if they don't then that's fine... but only giving them the only option until they ask - you know? we only told people about Tammy too - but they definitely went out on their own to reasearch too.
  17. i'd say about 75% of my guests used Tammy (TA), but i don't know for sure. once we realized that Dreams was running a promotion, and that most people were booking a.s.a.p. with this promotion - we ended up not getting a room block. people were on their own to book - and if they ended up paying a higher rate becuase they waited - oh well!

Plus, sometimes when I search from them, I find old threads that I forgot about that are fun/good to read! ME TOO! I am always bumping up threads people are looking for, or pointing people to a thread that already exists. But I am sure I started many duplicate threads when I first started - so I don't get annoyed when people do it - but I like having all of the chitter chatter on a topic in one place!
  19. no, you just post a lot of pictures (well, we ask for them!). and i am on here too much so i look at all of them!

  22. welcome! seems like the experts have already provided some advice - let us know how else we can help!
  23. we hit the red light, and customs asked us a few questions - especially since we had a large, brown box w/most of our OOT goodies. we just said the truth - they were decorations and gifts for our wedding. they just let us go.

I know that Jamy got an extra 1/2 hour and said it was worth it - but her crowd was definitely a party crowd. honestly, it's hard for me to say since i wasn't feeling well. i definitely think people would still have been dancing and having a blast had we extended it - no doubt. but there were also people who were probably ready to go at 10:30 - given that we also had an hour or more trip to go (boat ride, bus to Dreams, etc.). Kids were falling asleep on chairs, etc. - which is fine - but not sure how late would have been "too late." When we were deciding, we figured that those people that wanted to still party after the boat ride could go out afterwards - and they did!

Do you have any pictures? I will definitely try that ... thanks for the tip. I love the idea of just an intimate wedding, especially at a place like Caletas! Did you have the deluxe package, or did you do the intimate? I'd love to do something like this for an anniversary, like 10 year or something (or maybe 5, not sure I can wait that long!). I don't have all of my pics yet, but here is a sliseshow that Leigh put together (just cuz she's so dang sweet!): Darkroom SlideShare Quote: Originally Posted by tvt you girls keep mentioning that time flies.
