  1. Welcome! I'm a Cabo bride too, but I'm getting married at the Sheraton. If I can help you with anyting, please let me know! Happy planning!!
  2. Natasha, You have truly fabulous photos....I think because you were such a beautiful bride! I could really feel the love between you two...you are so lucky to have so many wonderful photos to remind of your beautiful day.
  3. Yay Glenda!! Congratulations!! .....a real excuse for you to be on the board all the time!!
  4. okay, here is what i found about hurricane season/weather in cabo: The stretch of land immediate south of California between the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of California is Baja California, Mexico ("Baja" means "Lower.") The weather here can be divided into two distinct categories: hot deserts and cooler near the oceans. Arid or semiarid conditions are present on the Baja Peninsula and rainy days are rare outside of the 'rainy season' September through December, which is why many golfers come here to play. Storms that do occur in summertime are short, but most of them pass by to the south. Summers are quite warm with very little humidity; winters have near perfect weather. June through September is hurricane season, but hurricanes on the Pacific are much less likely than storms on the Gulf of Mexico.
  5. I'm going to have my dad dress similar to the GM. Tan slacks and white silk shirt. The shirt will not match perfectly, but very close. I'd probably feel the same way as you....not sure about having dad dress opposite the GM....
  6. Welcome back Melissa! Thanks for the great review. The blood story was cracking me up. I was thinking "geez, this girl has some luck...a bruised toenail and a scratched left hand". So glad everything was beautiful and just as you imagined it. Can't wait to see more pics!!
  7. I was there last August (early August) and it wasn't humid until a storm began to come in....then of course, it was humid.
  8. Welcome Erynn! I'm getting married at the Sheraton in Cabo in June. Let me know if I can help you with anything!
  9. Susan~ They have quite a few starfish pendants at tiffany's. Tiffany & Co. | Search Results | United States
  10. Thanks Christine! That was kinda what I was thinking about doing. I want my make-up for my BD shoot to be much more dramatic then my plain jane everyday make-up. I loved your make-up!
  11. Ahh...I posted the wrong one. I meant this one. I think this is the right one.....big green stone in the middle..
  12. I like the idea of simple pearls, but I'm a simple kinda girl. Can you re-post the original necklace...I can't remember what it looks like.
  13. Anny~ Those are amazing! so beautiful and LOTS of work!! ....but, they really look great!! Fantastic job!! I'm sure you're going to get tons of compliments on them.

  17. Christine~ Your photos are amazing! You are gorgeous!! I think I like the last one the best. So pretty. Thanks for letting Leigh share with us. Who did your make-up for you (or did you do it yourself)? You girls make me excited....I can't wait for my BD shoot in May! Jonathan, will you capture Tony's response when he gets the book?
  18. I'm lucky my brother is an artist! So, he drew mine and we scanned it into photoshop. I wanted something special and having him design it was perfect.
  19. I agree, leave the train down for the ceremony and pictures and then bustle it up for dinner. What's the point in having a train, if you don't ever really get to see it? I don't know about the neckline. Did you talk to your seamstress about that? Did she say it was doable? I think either neckline would be beautiful.
  20. Yes, I agree. Are you planning to marry on Maui? .... I'll post all the info I find, ministers, photographers, etc. and you can pass it along to Paul.
  21. So fun! We're on the same alteration schedule...haha! It sounds like we're having the same things done to our dresses and the prices are comperable. We are going to be hot aren't we? I was sweating while I tried it on for her....physically hot and nervous about the alterations.
  22. I'm thinking totally simple....quick ceremony on the beach...I don't even think we'll exchange rings, unless we have to. I'd like to save that for the Cabo wedding. I don't even want flowers. I would like to have a photographer for an hour after the ceremony. I want to call it an "engagement session".... I really just want the pics for part of our Cabo wedding anyway. We never did an engagement session. I think we will go for a nice dinner afterward. We'll have Tony's business partner (and best friend) with us too.....the trip to Maui is really for Tony's business, so the legal ceremony will be a little fun between the business. What do you plan to do? Big elaborate thing or simple beach thing? ...I think you said simple beach thing before, right? I think it's going to be really special to have the two of us for the legal part...kinda romantic if you ask me.
