LOL, I have been known to be a bit of a nut :) Actually, I'm in NY, so it was 5:15 here :) FI get up for work between 4:30 & 5 (which means I hit snooze between 4:30 & 5 and then force him out of bed). Usually I go back to sleep, but I had a hard time this morning :)

What you did in your early 20's sounds close to what I did in my early 20's. I lost 70lbs and felt great and looked great...then I met FI....gained 100 lbs from my lowest (LITERALLY!).

With a few modifications and knowing that I can eat out and not destroy it probably means I can do this for longer than 1 week.

I just weighed myself again and I'm down a total of 7lbs...even waited 15 min for the scale to reset like the manual says and weighed myself again...same thing :)
7lbs!!!!! Woohoo rockon.gif You go girl! I'm so happy for you! I'm going to the gym in an hour and will weigh myself there. Can't wait to see how much I've lost!

Also, the only thing I drink is water (however, I do have oj and skim milk for my son in the fridge). I feel very tired and bloated (not that time of the month either). Not sure if it's because I'm working out everyday or not. Is anyone else working out everyday? I'm definitely still going to do it because I can't fit into any of my slacks for work and most of my skirts. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.

That is so strange that you feel bloated. Someone else reported that too. I feel completely empty
BTW, this is Day Two for me! So I added spinach to my soup for today and brought spinach leaves. I don't know how I will eat the spinach leaves since we can't have dressing though!! I don't eat baked potatoes (haven't for years) and plan on eating grilled turkey breast (4oz) with my soup for dinner tonight. So hopefully, that doesn't really make a difference.

It seems you already eat healthy so if you had to get off this diet to feel better I would. I work out every other day- moderate work out- light weights and cardio. I feel so good and have alot of energy this morning. I can't wait to get to the gym and I'm never like that! :)

Oh My!!!! it was so hard the first day, I don't remember being so difficult the first I did it.

Yesterday was my second day and the baked potato really saved me, otherwise, I think I would have broken down :-(

Today it's fruit and vegetable day, I can't wait for the beef and tomato day.

Congrats! That's awesome that you lost 7lbs already! What a great feeling you must be having!

I'd say if you don't start feeling better by tomorrow, then to go off of it. You eat great to being with and your health isn't worth it.

I walk, but it's not the same as intense work outs.
Hopefully, I will feel better tomorrow. I do wonder if it's just all in my head since this is my first diet. But, if I wake up feeling the same way tomorrow, I'm unsure what I will do. I fell asleep 3x at red lights driving to the gym this morning. Not fun!

That's great that you were excited to get to the gym this morning! I did modify my workout this morning to low impact weights and cardio (rode the bike on level 4 I think). So that could also make a difference.

It's so good to hear that everyone is doing such a good job with keeping up their diets. It is definitely inspirational to me and I wouldn't be continuing today if I didn't have you guys as encouragement! WE CAN DO IT!

Okay so it's almost 1pm here - I have eaten a whole big bowl of melon and another big bowl of soup. I have been grazing on it all day. I am trying to chug down some water. I feel full, but I'm still hungry!

I am thinking of putting some Mrs. Dash in my soup for dinner. It doesn't have any salt in it, so maybe that will help.

I am in it or my FI will call me a quitter. He doesn't think I can last the whole week, but now it's my mission to prove him wrong! He knows I dont like soup - but I LOVE veggies - so that's my ace (or so I hope)

We can keep going girls! angel1.gif

Mmmm, I can't wait for the beef!! We usually cook just one package of steak tips for all 3 of us, but I told DH we better cook 2 this time because I may want more than one piece!

I had some fruit salad this morning, an apple, and a bowl of soup for lunch. I'm so sick of peeing!

I feel a little bloated as well and I think it's because (sorry if this is TMI) I couldn't go to the bathroom yesterday at all. Monday I had to go a lot, but yesterday I felt very bound up, which tends to happy to me when I'm dieting and not eating enough fiber.

But I did lose about 3.5 lbs. so far, so at least thats good!

You can do it...this is your first day, right? We're here for you!!!

Soup ideas...I was reading online for some "tips".

It mentioned blending it or half of it to create a different texture and the flavor will probably change a little cause all teh veggies are mushed up - which DreamsTulumBride did and liked it.

I read about adding red peper...I do this to every bowl now and MonicaBrandon2008 has done it too

I read to blend it and then add some skim milk to make a "cream of Vegie" soup...especially on the Milk day. To thicken it, it said to used some FF Powered Milk in addition to the regular skim milk....I haven't tried it, but it's suppsoed to be like a new soup - I'm planning to try it tomorrow.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
