Spray on glue gets pretty hard and won't bend much after it dries. When you try to bend it the papers usually separate.

Just to add my $0.02 to the glue debate (late, of course, but thought it might be good for posterity/anyone doing a search): when I made my invites, I asked the woman who sold me the DIY kits and she suggested fabric glue, such as "Fabri-Tac".

 

I have to say, I was surprised by how well it worked! It doesn't get paper wet, like most glues do; it doesn't bubble; it lets you slide the pieces around slightly to readjust orientation (unlike tape); it dries really well, and if you get a bead on something you didn't intend to, you can just wait a couple of minutes and it peels right off.

 

We were duly impressed. =)

Angela, great idea color coding the entree selections! I'm a compulsive color coder, I'm surprised I didn't think of that.

 

Bre - I used the scrap book glue from Michaels. No problems with bleeding/bubbles but both of my pieces were cardstock. I also just glued the outside edges, making a perimeter, with nothing in the middle.

Sorry I missed this.. we did one per person.. We asked for menu choice on the RSVP cards.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
