Ok ladies, I'm having a Couture Map made for our OOT bags that I just decided to do like 2 hours ago...I have to have all of the information to the artist by Sunday!

What I need are:

Points of Interest

Streets

Website links of the area - anything you have!

Landmarks

ETC!!!

So I was thinking it will be sort of rectangular, long landscape layout. With San Jose and CSL. Obviously these would be on it:

Fiesta American

San Jose

CSL

El Arco

To Todos Santo

To La Paz

Mi Casa (since that's where our rehearsal dinner is)

What else?!?!? Maybe the names of the beaches? HELP ME PLEASE!!

Oh, and if you want to look at a sample, here it is:

OMG, that's awesome!!!! I know I should be helping you, but now you have me thinking I want those too for my OOT bags. Can you email me the info on the artist? I will definitely get you some landmarks or something to help you out. Let me do some research.

You bet, I'll send it your way. I'm trying research beaches, etc. I know at Cabo Surf you can surf in front of Zippers, so I'll have a little surfing person there, and in the arch and those seals wherever FI saw them when he was diving. And the old light house up the Pacific Side, and Todos Santos direction.

What else in San Jose can I add? And Cabo Wabo in Downtown CSL.

It's going to be so cute!!!

Yes, I'd definitely add the name of the beaches, especially Santa Maria & Chileno since these are both good snorkeling areas, and Chileno is good for swimming- that's where I did my TTD.

I'd add a directional arrow to the airport, what about Costco and Mega? Would your guests be interested in those?

What about some of the famous bars- Squid Row, Cabo Wabo, The Zoo?

The Marina, Pedregal Beach, and the two beaches near el arco- lover's beach and on the other side, divorce beach.

Oh perfect! I'll have to make sure I know exactly where each beach is, but those are great! Definitely Cabo Wabo and Squid Row...don't know the scale of the map, so I hope I'll be able to fit it all in, I might have to just add an arrow to San Jose if it won't all fit and start w/ the Zippers area.

Yay! Keep 'em coming ladies!

Oh, and I'll add whales in the ocean for Whale Watching! So cute!

I'm not sure that there's a particular beach that's the best for riding- I just rode in front of Dreams, but here's the link to the stable where Juan got my horses for my TTD shoot (Edyta too). It's located near Las Ventanas. There are vendors hawking horses pretty much on any beach, but these are nice, well-trained horses. Expensive, but if you're an equestrian, definitely worth the upgrade!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
