I do not think that Matt, Leigh or anybody else are spamming any advertising but an offer to help and believe me, girls like me need some resources should we have to re-plan our weddings, so I certainly see this as a very helpful email..

I will most definately need a resources for photography so thanks to all of you to offer to help, its more appreciated than you know..

IMO the situation is bad enough without complicating it with a who meant what discussion. This is about helping people who may be in need, and I say kudos to everyone who offered assistance when they didn't have to :o)

Leigh, all this websites are great resources, you are right by offering this suggestions to any brides that may need to re-plan the wedding and look for more options.

If this aren't enough, or out of budget, then we can still find lots of more people

Any way, good luck to all the brides that may be in trouble right now, we still don't know for sure where Dean will hit in the Yucatan Peninsula and how serious the damage will be to hotels, BUT... in Mexico they are ready, and experienced , so hopefully things will be back to normal very fast!..

If this aren't enough, or out of budget, then we can still find lots of more people on the The Digital Wedding Forum! - Digital Wedding Forum. The DWF!

I think it is awesome the amount of support everyone is offering. Thanks for starting this thread Leigh, and thanks to Robin and Sol & Matt for the additional support.

i dont really know what to say about this post matt...
im sorry, maybe there was some misunderstanding. this was not meant as a "vendor advertising thread" at all. in fact i stated its highly unlikely that i could help anyone out personally but would be glad to help locate a photographer if your wedding has to be moved because of the hurricane. i hope if your wedding becomes displaced you can still have a wedding photographer :) im definately not trying to cash in on anyones misfortune. i hope it didnt come across that way.

tammy feel free to delete my post if its inappropriate.

sorry, just got to this thread and when i read your post leigh, i did not think you were advertising yourself at all...you know i have little tolerance for that and would have been all over it if i thought so.

Leigh, you have always been an active and helpful member of the forum and have not ever overtly advertised yourself...in fact, i have been on the receiving end of your help when you referred a fantastic photographer to me so I know your post above really was to help other brides find replacement photogs if they needed to.

Thank you to everyone who offered to help the possibly displaced brides. I hope it works out for everyone who had a wedding cancelled. I am keeping my fingers crossed and wishing you all the best of luck!
