OKAY. Good news. I just got off the phone with Lizette who apparently is Landy's assistant now that Sandra is gone. She told me the old prices will apply to those who booked before the new guide was distributed. I also asked about the Seaside Grill and she said it has already been reserved for me on my wedding day. Soooo, I think you should be okay if you made arrangements BEFORE they drew up their new wedding guide.
Hope that helps release some stress!

thanks for the update, Can't Wait! I assumed that would be the case, otherwise they'd have A LOT of unhappy brides on their hands.

on the claudia rodriguez question, we're paying $3300 for the 5 hour package

AWESOME NEWS! I'm happy you managed to get a hold of them to confirm this. I am not surprised they are respecting previous reservations, that's just the type of place they are in my experience, very fair.

wow, that's a huge price increase (in just a few months) for the 5 hour package. Is that just the basic 5 hour package or does it include some extras?

I wonder what the resort photgraphers charge for 5 hours-has anyone seen their work? I guess at the end of the day it is worth it

NOW they are telling me we will have to wait until 1 month prior to reserve I haven't asked, but what if there is another wedding on that day that want the same thing? how does that work? I'm really annoyed at the fact that all the details are changing right now. They should keep everything the SAME for those booked, and only start the changes with brides who have yet to book!

brooke, as for the seaside grill..it's awesome! I only have like 22 out of the 50 people invited booked so far...and I think it's the ideal location! it's not overwhelmingly big! I promise to call..this summer has honestly gotten away from me so quickly!!
I got your email earlier too...yeah, just call when you get a chance. We can talk about lots of details!

I got my starfish bouquet jewelry in today....it is sooooooooo cute! I am so happy with it. Here's a pic, if I can get it to work...

the pic was way to big. let me see if i can make it smaller...still didn't work, i'll keep trying

How does the rehearsal work? The night before? Is it something you go over with the WC?

there isn't usually a rehersal done, but if you reallly want one it is possible, you'll have to work out the details with your coordinator. I'm sure it can wait till you get there, but you'll probably want to give them a heads up that you want to do one (when you get the wedding form a month before that asks questions about all the details, you could put a note in there that you want a rehearsal).

I just got this email from Landy. I don't really understand what she is saying about the 2007-2008 guide, but it sounds like they may be willing to work with us on the prices? If not, this means that I need to come up with more money to pay for this wedding, and I'm just learning about it 2 1/2 months away.

"In the wedding package , all the prices are subject to change without previous notice

Please just let me know when we have or meeting you have the prices from the other wedding guide 2007-2008"
