  1. If ur anxious on replies then send them out as soon u'de like. Nothing wrong with that and one less thing to worry about?
  2. I've done both the sugar and regular wax. Stick to the regular waxing. Withe the sugar wax u don't get the same "clean" effect.
  3. Well, I'll try to be bias. I stayed at the Rosehall a few years back. It was simply ok - nothing to brag about. I stayed at the Riu in Ocho Rios recently and LOVED it! It was everything we wanted and more. If u check out their website it really hits the nail on the head. Sandals was right next door and just by looking at it i was NOT impressed. Good Luck!
  4. Ask the wedding coordinator - she might be able to simply give them to you if the hotel provides them to the guest?
  5. Also, keep in mind that Dominican Republic is one of the least expensive AI locations in the carribean - that might up your guest list - just a thought. I've yet to send out the STD. Is your website included on the STD? If you want to anty up the responses perhaps send out the invites within the next month or so? I'm not marrying till Sept 2008 and i'm planning on sending out my invites within the next 2 months. I'm impatient 2!!!
  6. check out http://www.jakeshotel.com/ we are considering going there for our honeymoon. i really do not want to stay at the Riu for our honeymoon.
  7. I went through the same thing - if you have a travel agent you are working with - 4ward her that link - that's her job to do!
  8. I am inviting over 100 guests. I have been reading up on destination weddings - experts say to expect about 60-70% of guests to actually go.
  9. thanks! i was inspired by the knot.com you should check out their site - they have great pics - u might get inspired from there...
  10. Thank you! And congrats!!
  11. My theme is going to be seashells, starfish. I'm rolling with the whole beach thing...i'm also adding some sage, hot pink & white into the mix.
  12. Hi Morgan! First off, I myself thought about your question personally. My take? Now, If the resort can accomadate all your guests without a problem - and ur guests decide to stay somewhere else - then no, don't pay for there day pass. If you choose a small resort and u invite more than the hotel can accomodate then yes, u should pay for there pass. Hope that helped some!
  13. Hello everyone! My name is Nissi. I'm marrying on 9/1/08 at Riu Ocho Rios, Jamaica. My fiancee and I recently spent 8 days there to scope out the resort and fell in love!! We've booked our date already. Anyone out there has advice as to when to get a hold of the Wedding Coordinator to talk details? We meet with her while we were there and now I'm just thinking details....
