hmm I think I like the first one, its that drawing sort of thing I think you said you were going for. Also an idea to try, on my invites I did a really simple font called Chisel for all the text except for our names and used a scripty font for our names and I really liked that, it really made the names stand out.

OK, so here's my idea for you...i see you just posted yours again. This is just what I whipped up really quick.

I love the MPIX metallic paper and I think it makes a dramatic effect for a small price. You could have these printed on metallic paper for 56 cents each. Then, make the borders large enough that you could cut out and affix to cardstock, leaving a border around the edge- whatever your accent color is.

Then, print something on a belly band and put it around the whole thing. I'm sure it would be like 75 cents each for the whole thing. You could even print on vellum, or just put a band of vellum around the card with nothing on it- vellum just looks dramatic. Personally, I'd leave the website off the bottom if this is a formal invitation.

I love the dr suess quote btw- that's one of my favorites.

That looks great! I do like the contrast of a simple font with the script text. Do you mind emailing it to me?

I can't take credit- it was Morgan's design. I just probably have more of an arsenal of fonts than her! lol

              But thanks :)

I love miscellaneous design projects so if you ever have something you need done Mel let me know :)

Morgan that's exactly what I meant about the simple font with the scripty. I agree with taking the website off the formal invite. I did an insert with the website on it too.
