Thanks @@Wafflesmom! I've never seen a bouquet like mine either, I just played around until it looked nice. I'll most likely keep it this way but wanted to get some feed back. The view from the side is nice:

It shows off the lilies a bit.

I think the 3 stems is nice too! I'm so torn!

I was going to wrap the stems in either white ribbon, but now I'm thinking maybe silver to go with the silver bits I'm adding? Initially I was also thinking about just gluing them together and not using ribbon but still playing around with all that. Would love some feedback!

I've seen so many things done here over the past 1.5 years. I've seen the basic white or a solid color, I've seen patterns, jute, even wire. Anything will look great :) but am curious to see what you mean.

@ Thank you - I love my flowers too  :) What do you think about the arrangement?  As much as I like it I going to play with it again tonight and see what else I can do.

For the BM's bouquets, I'm really leaning towards 3, but both my sister and best friend say 5... I don't mind the bouquets being smaller, I just think it looks a lot cleaner and really shows off how beautiful the lilies are.  They're big as well, so when there are more put together they can easily squish...

@@calgarybride2015 haha you must think I'm nuts... This is what I was thinking.  But I feel like with Christmas stock out now I will have tons of silver ribbon options.

@ I'm not a flower expert either, I still need to take the flower arrangement course I signed up for.  But I personally wouldn't put any leaves with the lilies.  I only used greenery in my bouquet because of the roses.

I do have hints of silver in my colour scheme, so I think silver is good colour to go with for the ribbon and it won't be clashing with anything ie wrong shade of pink or white

Dee I agree with you, lilies are beautiful on their own and don't need the extra greenery. The great thing about lilies is that they can hold their own, if that makes sense. I have seen bridesmaids walk down with one Lily and it still looked beautiful. Maybe do two sets (one with 3 and one with 5), have one of your bridesmaids (if available) carry them with their dress on. Maybe that will help you decide and envision it better.

And I like the silver ribbon. And if you like, you can add a bit of bling to yours too

Oh I'm so torn and I'm probably not gonna be too helpful I live your first arrangement because it was unique and I loved how the roses were arranged. However, you couldn't see the calla lilies at all until you looked at it from behind. Your new arrangement is beautiful too though since you can see the beauty of all the flowers. Let me mull over this while at bootcamp lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
