Your dress for your bachelorette is super cute. It looks great on you!!! :)

Did you buy the gold from Michaels? I have those same marquee lights as well, but I haven't done anything with them yet.

Oh wow, you're almost a month away, that's so exciting! Everything looks great so far, you're really quite creative. I love the gold on the ampersand, it's a nice touch. As for the centrepieces, I like both. Can you alternate and have some with the blue starfish and some with the non coloured one? I think it would look really good. And how did you print on the straw flags? I wanted to do the same but didn't really want to write in them.

Oh and that dress looks fabulous on you! It fits you really well

I agree with @Wafflesmom for your centrepieces. Maybe instead of choosing one you can just have half of your tables with the blue and half with the natural

@snswedding2016 thanks!

@perianjay thanks! I bought the gold paper at Micheals... It wasn't until I got it home did I realize it was a velum paper so I couldn't glue it... It's just kind of attached by the lights... It's pretty sturdy, it's not going to come back out or curl...but they have other gold paper I just liked this one the best.

@calgarybride2015 As for the centrepiece , my FI is wanting all blue but I'm more for natural... Doing both might be ok... Guess I have to figure out my seating plan

@Wafflesmom thanks! Ok so the Flags... First I tried writing on them... Not so nice... Then I tried stamping them, but the smudged when I put the flags on the straws... What I did was put the flag on the straw and then stamped it... Watch out it's really easy to smudge so I'm letting it dry for a few days before I test if it will wipe off the flag... I will let you know tomorrow when test it :) hopefully all my hard work doesn't rub off!!!

Could you have a natural and a blue starfish in one bowl together?

I'll have to stop into Michaels and see what I can find. So how did you attach the paper? I haven't opened my lights or looked at them yet, but I probably should. Just one of the many small details that I keep forgetting about. We have "P & C" so I will have to dress up the three of them. Thank you for inspiring and reminding me!

When's your bachelorette!? Any idea what you're up for yet?

@snswedding2016

Thanks! No I just gotta figure out how to get them to Punta Cana without ruining them.

@calgarybride2015

I will give that a try tonight see if we can come to some compromise

@perianjay

My Bachelorette is in Punta Cana...and apparently its Top-Secrete...I know it some sort of excursion during the day that I have to wear beige shorts and a white top and something I have to wear a white dress for at night...lol... obviously I have one bridesmaid who is concerned about my ability to dress myself...lol...she claims it has something to do with the pictures.

so the velum is pretty stiff...I cut out the shape using the template...word to the wise, make sure your template fits, mine didn't I had to adjust after...If I had a full gold or color sheet instead of gold and white pattern you would notice it more!

After I cut the shape, I cut X's where the light holes are. I put the paper in place and pushed the big bulbs through the X's...that kept the paper in place. If you have a non see through sheet you can use glue or double sided tape. If you use a Glitter paper the bulbs may not fit through the X's

I still don't have a guest book yet...I'm stuck for what to do...I kinda want to do Two things....A scroll that everyone signs after the ceremony...and an advice for the the bride and groom card...I kinda want a picture of each guest / Couple tho so I was thinking of having a selfie stick and my phone there so they could take a picture that I could print later...is that stupid?

I want the scroll to look like this only personalized

Thank you so much for the tip on the flags! I didn't think they'd look too pretty if I wrote on them so I'll try the stamps. Yay 50% off coupon :)

@perianjay I can't believe you forgot you had them! You were the one who inspired me to get them lol. I want to get silver or coral paper to go in the marquees but Der wants to paint them.

Love the scroll idea! I also really like the selfie stick idea and don't think it's a dumb idea at all! You should totally go for it. We plan to have our go pro at the wedding with us and we want to use it for the reception to capture our own personal footage aside from what our videographer captures. I'm definitely going to be encouraging selfies all night because we have a gopro with a selfie stick.
