So today I get the flight itenary a from Air Canada and it's all screwed up.... They have people's names wrong... The city's they are flying out of wrong... And the days they are flying wrong! What the F$&@ Air Canada! I'm so irritated right now! Just had to vent...I also think my TA should of picked up on this before she forwarded it to me... Ugh... Tomorrow is a new day right?!

Ugh is right!

 

Not to stand up for AC but isn't the input into the system your TA's job? I know yours had a lot to do with that and had us double check at the start, then again after the itineraries went out. I'd be having a frank convo with her!

 

So is it all getting fixed?

I don't know, I didn't get the email til 7... She sends out the emails as she leaves the office... So I couldn't call her I have to wait until tomorrow to talk to her if she's working tomorrow. I'm so mad right now I can't sleep... :(

Hugs!! Good luck tomorrow. If you make no head way call ACV yourself. It's essentially a no no when you have a TA but they will talk you thru what needs to happen and how this even happened to begin with.

 

When they cancelled my flight and I had to wait a month for an alternate I was dying. I called them myself cause I didn't wanna wait as my TA kept telling me to do. Hahaha they just reiterated what she did but made me feel better to hear it from them too. Now I trust her 100%.

She is the manager at the beaches Flight Center Laura Hopkins.. She is normally very good and has fought with AC on my behalf for other things. There are 7 people in the flight schedule list that are listed as AA weddingheddersonatkinspuj so I doubt she typed that in 7 times, seems more like an air canada glitch to me but what do I know!! I don't know what the heck is going on but it better get fixed tomorrow! I wish I knew more about how this stuff works so I could tell who is to blame!

Toes and fingers crossed!! The joys of AC. I know @@calgarybride2015 had absolutely the best thing with them but my experience sucks. I hate them. With a passion and only fly them when there are absolutely NO other options or when we have to use Doug's business points. Otherwise - FORGET IT!!!! lol I feel so bad for you. I really hope you get it all sorted out. Thank goodness we're going Transat. Have always had great luck with them. Touch wood. lol

 

We did the ten year anniversary thing. I tried everything to have our wedding on our tenth but in the end it was a few days early. What the heck. It was close enough. We're at 14 this year so I know what you mean about the time going by. No idea where it goes!

 

I loved reading your thread. We've had some similar ups and downs! lol November was our original wedding date. Not what I wanted either so in the end it worked out just like it should have! And I know your will be awesome!

 

So what about Costa Rica for a honeymoon? They have really good pricing on packages and a couple of new resorts. I can't wait to go. Jamaica is for sure always an option and has tons of excellent resorts! Or Antigua, but it can be a bit expensive.

@@acw271011 This is the first time had trouble with AC. But since I started this wedding process it seems that everything to do with them is a challenge... Well I guess we will see what tomorrow brings.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
