Thinking Of Getting Another Dress For Ttd

Recommended Posts

Did anyone do this? I was thinking of getting a 99$ one from David's bridal, any other ideas? I'm thinking a custom Hong Kong one will take more than eight weeks to get here. The main reason I want to do this is to be able to do the session before the wedding, as we have one full day after and I'd like to sleep in and relax

I didn't do a trash the dress so I can't be any help there. But a David's $99 one is at least not painful on the wallet.

I am not doing a TTD either but I would go with somewhere you can try it on. I know some

Girls on this site have great experience with people abroad doing custom dresses, but the couple I know did not. Their dresses weren't sized to their measurements at all, one came dirty, etc. These girls only paid like $150 so not horrible. If you go with one of the higher end companies then I say go for it -- although I assume there may be a higher price tag than $100. If not, I would probably stick to David's bridal or similar. Good luck.

I did.  My dress feels like at least 20lbs, so even though I'm a competitive swimmer, I'm pretty sure I would have drowned ;)

I ended up getting a bridesmaid dress for about $200 (with taxes, etc) that I got in white.  I went to DB and they had like 2 $99 dresses (I went in the Chicagoland area).  They don't do bridesmaid dresses in white, but other bridal shops will!

This is the dress that I got (http://www.jordanfashions.com/455):

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
