Grooms Gift?

What are your thoughts on the watch matching the ring? My FI wants a white gold ring. He currently has a nice Black watch that he loves. Should I get him a silver watch so it matches his ring, or does that matter for guys?

My opinion is that it doesn't matter to them. If he already has a watch he loves I'd keep seeking out other ideas. It's super hard isn't it?!?

I bought my man a PS3 and PS4 with the games! He averages 25-30 hours a week. He only plays Madden so I'd much rather him log that time in his man cave at home than hangin' out with his boyz!!! It bring me comfort knowing where he is and what he's doing...after all, he's is just a man!!!  :P

@@jeffandrobyn I think that is what we'll end up doing! We are getting married in Jamaica, but my fiance is from Jamaica so he wants to do something completely different for our honeymoon. Someone was just telling us about their honeymoon in The Maldives and I think that got his wheels turning. Haha. I'm kind of leaving that up to him since I've made most of the wedding decisions :)

I just ordered a gift for Nathan for the wedding. I seen this today and thought he would absolutely love it. It is going to be custom made so what you see in the picture just gives you an idea of what I am getting. So the picture is obviously going to have me and Nathan and our dog Jessie. Nathan and I will be walking down the street and Jessie will be in between us walking. The background will be from a place back home in Newfoundland because we are both from  there but we are both living in Alberta right now. I will also have him write "The Brien's" at the bottom of the picture. He will love that for sure.

I am also going to get this framed for him before I give it to him.

The pictures I have shown are just samples.

Oh and this guy that is doing this for me also does posters for weddings if you wanted to have that as a signature poster for people to sign. He suggested maybe getting a matte put around it and having people sign on that instead of the actually picture. I thought that was an awesome idea as well. It's very cute. He also does save the dates and invitations and he can send them to you in file format to get printed. Just some ideas.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
