"cheap" Wedding Flowers?

I really didn't realize how expensive the flowers were at the resorts. I'm going to have to put some thought into this.

Peonies are VERY expensive (I was quoted $30 a single stem!) Things like gerbera daisies, babys breath, alstroemeria, lilys, and actually roses seem to be cheapest

Flowers are such a big part of the wedding, it is definitely worthwhile checking around for vendors, not only for prices but to match your style and "vibe". If I may, I'd like to mention some outside vendors that do lovely floral work, like Maya Diseno Floral, Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design, Cherry Blossom, Flores Riviera Maya, and Planner 1 Events just to name a few. Here are a few inspirational floral photos (you can almost smell the roses!) We notice a trend towards succulents in the bouquets lately!
