Super Stressed - Beach Palace Or Grand Coral Beach Club?

Recommended Posts

@@LisaAnthonyPoppy - Nope, I had the same issue. I think if you want to go with them, you're probably going to have to hire your own wedding planner which adds about $1000-$1500 to your cost

That's such a bummer. There has to be a way around hiring a wedding planner. I would hire a wedding planner for like 200 if they could get me a deal on other services. I already know exactly what I want and am hiring my own officiant, dj, and tables and chairs. I just need Grand Coral to tell me, yes they can send me a contract for my wedding date! haha I just have to laugh bc I don't know what else to do!

Thank you!! After all that stress, we finally decided to go with Beach Palace our original venue and are hopefully booking it and locking it down tonight!

Thank you for all your help

Congrats on making a decision! I'm in a similar situation too, I'm going back and forth with Moon Palace because of all the restrictions and the nickel and diming.. But overall I am thinking about my guests and I think that's going to be the best resort for kids, seniors, and the foodies in my family.

I have a question, can you book your wedding without making your actual hotel reservation? I'm waiting for my TA to get better rates but I would like to lock down my wedding date/time.

@@LisaAnthonyPoppy - Yeah, if I could afford a wedding planner I'd love to have one, but budget wise, it doesn't make sense for us. I already had all my vendors lined up and just basically needed someone to coordinate the day of and maybe decorate. You can try negotiating with a wedding planner, but it's probably not in their best interests to take on a client that doesn't need that much, you know. I decided the costs were still too high, and decided to go with Beach Palace because of their unlimited private events.

Good luck with your decision! This stressed me out a ton (as you can see from my original post!), but i'm a lot more relaxed now that I have my wedding date booked!

@@shelikespink - Yes you can book the wedding. That's actually the first thing they want. You reserve it with $250 for the complimentary package (and more if you are upgrading your ceremony). We wanted to have our hotel rate locked as well and make sure there was enough availability because our wedding is in only 8 months! If you're looking at next year, you definitely have time to shop around. I think a lot of the ladies here already have wedding dates for 2015 and 2016 without booking the hotel rooms yet

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
