Hey- my wedding date hopefully is April 28th 2015. just waiting on confirmation back from the resort. We want the Pergola for our ceremony and Castaway's for our reception. Only potential negative side of Castaways I've heard is the way it is setup if you have a lot of guests (40+) people are really separated from one another. I'm thinking it'll probably be the best option for a bigger group. However, the bambino room does look really romantic.

Im May 22, 2015!!!
We are doing Pergola, Mix bar and then reception at the carnival terrace. We only have 30 so we are doing one large table out there. Have any of you been there before?

I did hear a few brides reviews that when they brought their own few decorations they wanted the Bamboo room looks quite beautiful. my wedding planner though did get married there and had 75 guests and the bamboo room is quite larger than you assume. She actually felt it was too big.

Hey ladies!

I'm trying to get rid of some chair bows I used for our summer wedding at Now Jade. I have 77 total (12 new, 65 used) CORAL satin chair sashes (8x108). The used ones just would need ironing or dry cleaners, but they are folded nicely to avoid too many wrinkles. First come first serve. Please let me know if anyone is interested!

Thanks and happy planning!

Hi Ladies!

Our wedding isn't until May 2nd, so I'm in the planning stages as well. I thought I'd share our choice of local photographers: Octavio Montes Photography. I saw some raving reviews from others and found his website to be helpful and personal-feeling. The photos posted by past brides who've used him (as well as the examples in his gallery) have an artistic and lively quality that I'm really drawn to. Anyway, when I confirmed he was available the date I need, he asked to set up a telephone call to speak with me personally. I was pleasantly surprised by this since I assumed it would all be done by email. He called at our agreed upon time, and I found him to be a lot of fun to talk to. I told him he'll have his hands full with my fiancé who HATES having his picture taken :)

Here's his info:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
