Wow TrooDIVA, you did very well in your planning so far!! I went to one bridal show and bought a notebook. Who is your wedding planner in Charlotte? I might be interested in that. In addition, where are you getting your real touch flowers. I was going to look into the ones HOBBY Lobby has. My TA is Babs with Wright TA, who has been wonderful!!

Our planner is Shawon McClure-Fields with SDS Events. I can PM her number to you if you'd like. We went with April's floral expression for real touch flowers (found her at a bridal show). I've seen great reviews on your TA. I'm trying to find a wedding website and app for our guests. So much or there to choose from.

Yes, please PM your planner's information. The next big bridal show is in January at the convention center. Will mostly attend, maybe April Flowers will be there. I think I decided to use wedding wire.com for my website. Haven't updated it yet.

Carolina Bridal magazine is free from Dillard's or it may be on the stands in the NorthLake and SouthPark malls. It list the various bridal shows in the area.

Yes, we are taking flowers with us. The flowers are real touch flowers do we are able to take them. We chose Mann Travels because we have used them in the past. They book the rooms and flights for our group. We have our gift registry through them as well. My planner is Shawon McClure-Fields of SDS Events. She is AWESOME!

I just received an email of a bridal event for destination weddings. It will be held Wed. Nov 20, 2013 at the Hampton Inn near SouthPark at Phillips Place. For more information, you can call 704-612-0039. The website is www.abetterplanner.com/events. I registered because they are suppose to be featuring various resorts including AmResorts. My wedding venue is at Secrets Wild Orchid which is an AmResort.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
