Hi! I just got married at Paradisus Palma Real in May 2013. Happy to share EVERYTING! Can give the low down on the resort, staff, booking rooms, catering, event planning, music, photographers. Let me know how I can help! Divatrotter!

    Hey guys! Sorry I was away from this site for a while as this threat wasn't as active. We are in te process of picking our date which will most likely be August 2014. We have recieved the contract already and are in te process of reviewing it. Also, We are currently working with Marylin Cairo who is at the Miami Office, she is pretty good at responding emails on a timely manner, so I would recommend her. We arw also working with Patty Jordan, our TA from Wright T.A.. Additionally, I'm still trying to decide on our wedding package which it is not as critical as we have until 4 months prior the wedding :Dto decide. I am also waiting to hear from Arrecife, the resort's photography vendor regarding packages and costs. If I can help in anything please let me know. Happy planning!! Liz

      Hello, hope everything is well!! Thank you for offering your help. In fact I do have a few concerns and I was hoping that you can please help me out!! :) What are your thoughts on Arrecife photography? Do you happen to have a breakdown of their packages so we can look at? Also, what package did you choose? I am between the Chill Out Chic and Aqua. What are your thoughts?         Hi everyone,

         

        I've just booked my wedding and we are due to get married May 2014. So far, communication has been great with the romance team.

         

        We have opted for a garden gazebo ceremony and a beach reception using the chill out chic package. We have 56 guests (at present) attending with us so the package price is creeping up! All from the UK and staying in the Reserve.

         

        I'm struggling on timings as we want the day to last as long as possibly but with the extra hour prices, the package price keeps creeping up and up. We intend on getting married at 4 pm so any suggestions would be great!

         

        I also would like to know what locations they have for the cocktail hour. Any thoughts on this? I've heard that they have an area where the flamingos are located, but not too sure whether this is true and also what the settings look like.

         

        I have had communication also with Lara, the decor organiser and she seems to be very helpful.

              Hi All, I'm just starting the process of booking my wedding for July 2014 at PPR. I don't even know where to start, help! I called the romance team once, spoke to Ilka, but she was useless. Anyone have a direct number for a friendly wedding coordinator? I've been reading a lot about the wedding calculator - is that something that can be forwarded? Any help would be greatly appreciated! M :confused:

                I haven't pick mine yet. I originally wanted to do the Aqua package but now I'm hesitating due to the amount I guests that we may have (56). I wanted to do a sit down dinner and the idea if a Welcome BBQ (tailor Made) was pretty exciting as well. However, I may so te Chill Pit Chic so we can save some $. The chill out chic does not comes with a sit-down dinner and it only have 3 our' serves. The good things is that all packages are pretty customizable.

                    Yes I worked with Marilyn Cairo at first. I was then transfered to Lauren and now I am working with jessica... Everyone has been great so far!

                    Can't wait to marry my best friend and love of my life...
