Hi,

I checked with my wedding coordinator about delivering my OOT bags and I was told that it would be $4 per room and they wouldn't get delivered to 7pm the day that the guest arrive.  I have some guests coming in on Friday and we are having a welcome dinner that night.  I wanted to include an itinerary of the wedding events but that defeats the purpose if they get the welcome bag after we had the dinner which is at 6:30. I also thought about just giving them to my guests the night of the dinner and not including an itinerary.  Any suggestions?

Majority of our guests arrived the day before the welcome dinner and we greeted them in the lobby with the welcome bags ourselves.  We also posted all the events on our wedding website because we did have a few guest arrive the day of the welcome dinner.  We still included the weekend itinerary in their bag.

Yeah we have posted the events on our website but I am just afraid some of our guests won't be looking at that like Grandparents that are not familiar with the internet.  We are on the same flight as many of our guests and I thought about doing that as well just handing them out as they were checking in.

Thanks for you input!

Is there anyway you could arrange to give the itinerary's to the resort to hand to guests as they check in (just the paper), and then give them the bags at the welcome dinner??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
