  3. I am debating if I just use the music provided by the WC for the ceremony or use my own. I have a few ideas for what I would walk down the aisle to and bridal party but I am looking for some ideas for guest seating I was thinking possibly something carribbean. Any suggestions and how long did you create the play list for the guest seating 15 mins? What about for after you were married what song did you use? Thanks Darcy

  5. Thanks Allie, I do have pictures of the styles I like and I may even have a friend of mine that is a stylist do my hair and take a picture to bring it down as reference. That's a great picture of you and your hubby:)
  6. Hi, Just wondering if anyone has gotten hair and makup done for the wedding at Casitas Spa? If so are you willing share pictures? I am sure they do a great job and I am getting a rehearsal before the wedding but still makes me a little nervous not knowing. Darcy
  7. I was just curious about the anniversary voucher that you received how many nights is it for? Does it depend on how many rooms you book?
  8. Has anyone had their reception on the beach? We are having ours at Fuentes Terrace that was my dream from the beginning have a reception on the beach but now I am second guessing that thinking it might be windy etc. I like the Tuscanes but unfortunately it's booked up.
  9. Yeah we have posted the events on our website but I am just afraid some of our guests won't be looking at that like Grandparents that are not familiar with the internet. We are on the same flight as many of our guests and I thought about doing that as well just handing them out as they were checking in. Thanks for you input! Darcy
  10. Hi, I checked with my wedding coordinator about delivering my OOT bags and I was told that it would be $4 per room and they wouldn't get delivered to 7pm the day that the guest arrive. I have some guests coming in on Friday and we are having a welcome dinner that night. I wanted to include an itinerary of the wedding events but that defeats the purpose if they get the welcome bag after we had the dinner which is at 6:30. I also thought about just giving them to my guests the night of the dinner and not including an itinerary. Any suggestions? Darcy
  11. I have a friend that stayed at El Dorado Royale and they did a ziplining ATV with a private lake swim and said it was amazing. I will have to find out what group they went through if you are interested.
  12. I am using Sarani I have booked for 5.5 hours do you have a big wedding party? I have 7 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen and she said that 3-4 hour packages are for small weddings with almost no guests and only dinner party unless we didn't really want a lot of pictures with the group and just wanted to focus on bride and groom and and the parents. We wanted lots of pictures with everyone so we went with the longer package and we are also getting video.
  13. I am going with Sarani. She is a little bit more on the expensive side however she has been really responsive to any questions I have and was willing to work with me to make it affordable.
  14. Sure that sounds great do you have a picture of sandals? Thanks Darcy
  15. Hey , I probably going to be barefoot for the ceremony but I am looking for some cute flip flops to wear after anyone know of a good place or website?? Thanks Darcy
  16. Hey I was just curious what to tip the WC, the staff setting up the wedding along with the bartender, and photographers. Did everyone do 10% of the cost of the services I am not sure what to do??!!! Thanks Darcy
  17. What about for center pieces what is everyone doing? The couple that I saw were $70ea I don't really think I have room to be bringing down centerpieces in my suitcase I am expecting 40 guests I believe tables seat 8 per table so i would need 5 centerpieces. Any ideas???
  18. I am doing a bouquet of stargazers, white lilies, purple iris and some white and blue roses it is $90 the one I originally sent my WC was quoted at like $330 because it had orchids and calli lilies which is apparently hard to get there. Doing a smaller version of my for the bridesmaids for $50 (apparently cheapest they can do) $30 boutinerres and $40 corsages the flowers are costing more than the dinner! I have 7 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. Also doing two hanging corsages for the gazebo that are $70 ea.
  19. I posted on the Knot that I was looking for malibu blue sashes and someone responded. I wish she had the runners but she doesn't she had to rent those. Did you find a place to buy the sheers if so where? I planned on renting them I was just getting two. I think the flowers are pretty expensive too but nothing can do about that!
  20. Mine just told me that it wouldn't be a problem if I wanted someone to set up the place cardholder but I am not sure if that applies to the sashes which I decided to buy I found a great deal I couldn't pass up 200 for $20 instead of renting for $4 a sash!
  21. I was told $5 per person (for both) is the standard but depends on quantity of decorations. We are looking at 40 guests so it adds up. My travel agent that has worked with the this resort told me that if you have one of your guests help with the decorations you bring this can avoid the fee all together. Not sure that I want to ask any of my guests to do that though.
  22. I received a response from my WC regarding fees if I bring my own decorations. I think this is a little crazy it's $5 per person that has to be paid to the wedding team onsite. I am expecting 40 guests so that's an additional $200. Also if you have welcome bags that you would like delivered to your guests rooms it's $4 per room.
  23. I emailed my WC so I will see what type of quote I get. I am sure they do charge $150 or more so you are tempted to use there services instead
  24. Hi do you know if you have to pay a fee since you are bringing in your own sashes, runners etc? In my contract I saw there was a fee for outside vendors didn't know if decorations there would be as well.
