Dreams Los Cabos Bride - 6 months to go

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

Looking for past, present and future Dreams Los Cabos brides and destination brides in general. I have six months left until my wedding on 7/27/13 and I appreciate any advice or ideas. I'm still trying to figure this website out but it has been so tremendously helpful in my planning so I'm doing my best to stay active in the threads.

With six months left to plan and organize I feel a little overwhelmed. I have all my important vendors booked, invitations mailed and ideas for what I want for everything and now it's time to just put everything together.

WC - Yesica

Travel Agent - Vacations For Less, Inc.

Photographer - Gilda Badillo

DJ - Ron Webber

If anyone has any information on the vendors I chose please feel free to share. It's really hard booking and trusting vendors we've never met.

Airfare - I contacted Alaska Airline and they gave me a 5% wedding group discount. I know it's not much but anything helps. They were very helpful and setting up the group discount was easy. Does anyone have good resources for airline tickets?? My travel agent cant' do much with airfare so I am shopping around for good deals.

I've purchased my dress and my bridesmaid chose and purchased their dresses! Woo hoo! Now we need to accessorize and figure out what we are doing about hair and make-up.

We purchased our wedding bands but will need to still size and engrave them.

I'm working gathering RSVP responses, ideas for favors, ideas OOT bags and finalizing travel plans. I still have so much to do but have found really great resources along the way. I'm so excited for everything to come together.

My fiance and I chose to go the destination wedding route in order to save money but also because we believe there is nothing more romantic than getting married on the beach. We are very excited to share this unforgettable trip and wedding with our closest friends and family. Best of luck to you all and happy planning. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

    • Hello, I am getting married after 2 months. I and my fiancee were searching for a beautiful spot for our pre-wedding photoshoot. And finally, we have selected Algonquin Park. We have decided to do some adventurous activities there. In the video, we would like to show our moments of trying adventures together. Especially, hiking and canoeing. It would be really fun. We have found a suitable trail for hiking in Algonquin Park. Had anyone tried hiking there? What would be the estimated amount for it? Please do share it here. Thanks!
    • Anybody getting married at the fives beach hotel in playa del carmen in 2020? I'd like to connect with others as we are experiencing some issues and misinformation with the karisma transition. Hoping we can all help each other!
    • Pronovias Pria Wedding Dress. Sweetheart neckline with beautiful soft lace detailing throughout. Low lace back with button detailing. This dress falls beautifully on your silhouette and is so comfortable to wear. Bought a size 16 for my big hips, but tailored it to fit more like a 12-14 (in street clothes I'm a size 10). If you're looking for a destination wedding dress that won't make you sweat all night, this one is for you! I absolutely loved this dress and will miss never wearing it again.  Alterations: Ribbon empire bow on belt at waist was removed and replaced with a sparkly applique. Train was removed. More pictures are available. Paid $1400 Cdn, asking for $500 - it's in good shape (looks like new with no markings!) and has already been professionally cleaned.
    • My daughter is getting married in Punta Cana on May 23rd, 2020. The hotel is charging a fortune for centerpieces that I can make it easily. I need a contact of wholesale florist please. To buy directly. If anyone could help I appreciate
