I think the flowers look awesome, I dont think that they look bad at all, and you did a great job with them! Seriously makes me think that maybe I am going to do them after all LOL!

I think that we strive to make everything perfect and sometimes you need someone not so close to give you an honest opinion, They look really good! And those shoes are really cute, good find!

Ladies, firstly thank you so much for the reassurance... I am a minor melt down about the flowers, but I am good now :)

Secondly, I own many pairs of OKAB shoes & I LOVE them... so comfortable and they last forever!

Have a great weekend everyone!

One year today until my wedding!!!!!!!!! Soooo excited! But I just wanted to update... I found my bridesmaid dresses! I am  sooooo excited because I randomly typed into google "Coral Bridesmaid dresses for sale" and up popped a kijiji ad for two bridesmaid dresses in a style I loved by Alfred Angelo and the sizes are about 1 size too big for each of my girls but not a big deal at all because we'll just get them altered to fit anyway! I got the two dresses for $150 and they are in the exact colour I was looking for as well!

Here's a picture of the dress!!! Its Alfred angelo style 7138.

I was also in a crafty mood last night and started making dress hangers. I completed the Bride and Maid of Honour ones. I ran out of wire for the one for my Bridesmaid... luckily my fingers started hurting soo much! I don't think they are too bad considering my craft skills are pretty non-exsistent!

I was thinking about the hangers, was it hard?

Thanks! My friend actually just got back  from a wedding in Cuba and I was looking at photos and the bridesmaids had those same dresses! They looked great!

The hangers weren't hard at all... There is a DIY tutorial on here somewhere (just search it) and she shows you exactly how to do it! I just kept the photos of the ones she made on my computer and used that as guidance... my wire isn't as straight as I'd like it because the end part was all twisted so I need to buy some more for my bridesmaid one so I might re-do the Bride one, but I'll have to see if I feel like it lol! My fingers hurt at the end but that was about the hardest part. And I'd mention make sure to leave enough room on both sides to make sure it will fit properly and not be off centre....like honestly I am not crafty AT ALL so if I can do this I know anyone can!

CSHO you did an amazing job on the hangers, I have been wanting to try one... but was worried it would be too difficult. You've inspired me to try :)

And the dresses are so nice! I love them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
