Lovely! The sleeves added a very romantic and classic touch to your dress. There's also a princess-like hint!  Your smile says it all- a truly great destination wedding!

XOXO

Thank you Chelsea!!! That's very sweet of you. You described it perfectly. =)

But soon enough we had all sorts of people that wanted to go and it got to be too involved to plan a wedding and everyone's trip to HI. Not to mention expensive!! So we moved our ceremony and reception to Now Sapphire in Rivera Maya Mexico. With a new change in venue and a more 'upscale' feel I was feeling unsure and uncomfortable about my dress. So I was able to find another dress that made me feel more comfortable, beautiful and more importantly bridal. Here it is!!! It needs to be altered but I LOVE it!

Congrats! I don't know what your first dress looked like, but this definitely has a formal, bridal look while still being comfortable and destination friendly. Glad you feel beautiful in it, as every bride should. Are you at Nordstrom's Wedding Suite? LOL

Nowhere in my city had it. I actually purchase another dress but after a week (of regret i might add) i found out that the deposit didn't actually go through (yay!) So in the end after trying on countless Maggies and camparing it all to this one I took a leap of faith and bought my Maggie. I came in today... i got the phone call and left work to go try it on! LOL. I love it and its all i hoped it would be.

The top layer in this pic desperately needs to to be pressed but im also taking out that top layer  and taking the lace edge down to the loger second layer just to make sure it all lays nicely flat

Well thats a pretty ballsy move! I'm glad the risk paid off. The gown is gorgeous. I love the intricate beadwork and the belt is insane, and it fits you perfectly.

I love the simple flawless look of this dress. It's so flirty with the raised front. I like the fabric and the flower in the front. Great choice. It looks suited for a fun, spunky, unique bride. And it looks like you can party all night in that dress!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
