Getting Married at The Beloved Hotel

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies who are considering The Beloved, TA Wendy here, I work very frequently with this resort, it is a great choice! It seems that every wedding I assist with at The Beloved generates another! I would be very happy to answer any questions you might have about the resort, the rooms, the wedding department on site and how to book your group!

If I can be of help just let me know.

I was just on site a couple of weeks ago and am working on a large wedding group here in early December.

Email me at [email protected] or PM me here if I can assist!

Has anyone have any reviews that have had the wedding at beloved?

I am super curious.  I have a site visit with Finest in December and some other resorts and they told me about Beloved, now I am so curious... and even more confused LOL!

We were looking for a boutique hotel we will have children and it looks like it is very "quiet" so want to make sure it will not be to quiet for the kids and also the adults.

Any info would be awesome

My fiance and I got engaged in October 2015. I had done months of research to find the perfect place for my destination wedding.  After narrowing it down to one location and having many conversations with multiple resorts I traveled during April of 2016 to Mexico to do site visits at each of them and stayed at Beloved Hotel as this was my front runner going in.  After my stay I quickly locked in my date with Beloved and had a contract in place to have my wedding there in May of 2017; it was perfect. Beloved satisfied all of my wants and more; the resort is family friendly, small and intimate, has impeccable service, amazing rooms and all I was looking for. Most important to me is that they only do 1 wedding/day. They contacted me this week to inform me that effective Sept. 2016 the resort will be adults only; my nieces and nephews whom are under 18 and will not be permitted to attend with the change. I am devastated to say the least. I have been upfront the entire time about the children in my group and di not consider any adult only resorts for that reason.  They are trying to work with me to move the wedding to their sister resort, Finest, however the resort is very different than Beloved. A big difference is that they host up to 4 weddings per day.  If they can make changes to host my wedding there in the same way that they could at Beloved I will seriously consider having it there. If not I have to start the entire process over again. I will keep everyone updated regarding how they are treating this as Excellence is turning something that was supposed to be beautiful into a nightmare. I hope they can turn this around. I want to make sure other brides are aware of what they are doing and how they are treating those they have now displaced.  They say Excellence is known for their customer service; I am willing to give it a fair change but after doing this to us they should bend over backwards for the pain and damage they are causing.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
