Being a MoonDance Villa Bride is a Lonely thing :-(

Cherina,

I am so happy you started this thread! I am actually planning to book MDC's in February of 2014...looking at the weekend of the 15th as well. My fiance and are are SO excited to have our wedding there. We're confident that we, along with our guests will love the experience. What was the process you had to go through to book the villas? We're hoping to get everything nailed down within the next two weeks.

Hi Cherina,

I'm so happy you started this thread! I'm actually planning to have my wedding at MDCliffs the weekend of Feb. 15th (2014)! My fiance and I are SO excited...my family is Jamaican so they are really looking forward to having the chance to go back. We're hoping to nail down our dates with the resort soon - what was the process you went through to reserve the villas? We're working on figuring out what our total number of guests will be..thinking it could be anywhere between 30 - 60 depending on our guests finances.

@ashleighnicole I'm so excited for you. We will be there at the same time!!! I am 2.14.14 at MDV! I booked on Villa to secure our date because they only have one wedding daily then added villas until we had the whole resort reserved. You can release units until 6 mo prior, so reserve for all of your invites then let the ones go that you don't need there is no penalty as long at the credit stays at moon dance. We are using the reservation amounts for our rooms. We are actually reserving a few rooms at MDC well for overflow.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
